It’s a scam

Love it

I love this app. It’s amazing. It’s good to have an extra stash of savings somewhere. It takes a couple of days to receive a withdrawal unlike a regular savings account so it helps not pull money out compulsively plus it’s usually growing on its own.

Acorn

Don’t recommend, customer service doesn’t do much to help. Micro-deposits won’t show up so you can’t verify your account and without verification you can’t withdraw the money however they still can take the money out of your account with the round-ups.

Mobile Deposit is a NIGHTMARE

.-----:93:----.

I don’t usually leave negative reviews but I’m so fed up with this place. I switched to acorn because I had a job that did direct deposit and for awhile it was great. I’m now currently at a job that’s checks only, but Acorn claims you can do mobile deposits. Just don’t. You go through the normal steps of signing the back and taking photos but then they tell you to write “For deposit only into Acorns.” But then they won’t accept it because it’s suppose to say “For deposit into Acorns only.” Then when you finally get it to go through they do a reverse deposit. I tried to dispute the claim and the response I got is the reason I’m leaving this review. So thank you Alyssa from Acorn, I really appreciated the app screwing up and causing me to have to wait another 7 days before I can actually get paid. Btw, if you're going to deny a deposit, maybe contact the person in an email and let them know WHY. Simple, non-tacky, communication would’ve solid my problem.

Check out this review! (Not clickbait)

This app is an awesome app! It’s an app to help you save money for the future, help you invest in whatever you want to invest in, help you maintain a balance in you financial status, help you maintain a balance in life, stress relieves a lot of stress, (meaning you don’t have to worry about wasting or even accidentally spend money), it also helps you with your CHILDREN! By that I mean, this app allows you to invest money in the future, like I said before, and, helps you increase the value of saving versus increases the amount of money saved for you children for the future. In the end, what I basically am trying to say it that, “If you’re looking to save money for the future, invest money in the furred for family, yourself, friends, jobs, businesses, etc., and, are trying to accomplish a new accomplishment/New Years resolution type thing, I think you should download the Acorns app for you’ll invest, save, and, relieve a lot of stress thinking about what you could have done back then to save your financial, family/friend/etc., status. Plus, like Acorns says, “from acorns to (blank) grow oaks.” (Acorns app)

Automatic savings equals long term success

I set my account to deposit $100 a week every Monday and literally forgot I did it. I now have over $10,000 in my investment account in 18 months, equating to a 30% return. I love the simplicity and the automation!

Start now!!!

Starting to invest was by far the most valuable decision I’ve ever made, I only wish I had started earlier. If Acorns existed in my 20s I would have started sooner because even if you know absolutely nothing about finances or the market you can put money into your acorns account and never really worry about it. Tell them your goals and a little about yourself and for next to nothing your in the market and headed toward your goals. On top of a solid investment account Acorns also comes with an enormous amount of knowledge and will teach you about investing if you want to learn. The information they have for you is presented in a friendly and easily understood manner. If your investment account serves you as well as I know it can’t get also offer a retirement account managed much in the same way as you investment account complete with all the tax benefits that go with a retirement account as well as an incredible spend account that comes with a very handsome tungsten debit cards as well as instant round ups and a great rewards program just for spend money (you’re gonna spend it anyway might as well get something extra for it). If your a regular working class cool operator like myself, ?lol, and you hope to amass some wealth in your life then you should absolutely, no question invest your money and let it compound. Unless you’re already wealthy or win the lottery or something then it’s truly the only chance you got and Acorns will do a wonderfully stress free, honest and thorough job of it and they will hardly require much in return. They want you to win, and now thanks to a wealth revolution that has given access to regular hardworking people plus the rise of great financial allies like Acorns to guide people through this great revolution we actually can win!!! Thanks Acorns!!! I know I’ve pretty much had it with the institutions of the system using me for the sole purpose of standing upon my back just to “trickle down” a useless stream of piss on my face and throw me the leftover trash from their dinner tables expecting me to be grateful while they destroy the planet and never really pay a dime in return. Old White Money stand aside- you’re way has shown us to the edge of catastrophic failure and grave unbalance. It’s high time you you take to the corner in your dunce caps and allow the rest of us to clean up your fool mess.

It’s decent for investing

Frankoxo

It’s decent for investing you will probably make money slowly over time which is nice and basically the main concept. The biggest issue for me is lack of customer service. Everything else is great just no phone number, no direct email to get in contact is where it falls short. But if your looking to invest slowly you will see a return.

Wast of time

I spent a few days trying to set up my account and no luck. I E-Mailed them and just get generic response. Kept getting need to set up you Profile be for you can invest and would tell me to link an account to finish you profile. Could not do the one with the other being done. Sent an Email to them and told me to follow the link. And it kept saying the same thing. Just delete and find something more user friendly.
