Made an appointment through app and loaded personal information as requested on app checkin. Showed up at docs office and they have no record of my appointment. Waste of my time and I strongly recommend do not load personal information ahead of time!

I just want to say that Zocdoc on an android device is painstaking to use! But as soon as I got an iPhone it went smoothly I was having the worst time and luck finding doctors that took my insurance after calling my provider and blind calling offices I tried zoo doc again and it was so easy!

When I first discovered this app I thought it was the best find ever. I’ve since been proved wrong. I’ve had four separate appointments all canceled without any warning or explanation. For one of these I called the “office” and the woman who answered had no clue what I was talking about and was of no help at all. Another appointment (also canceled) was made because under the search I did, this particular office took my insurance. The DAY OF THE APPOINTMENT I received a phone call telling me that they did not. Honestly, doing a google search would be more efficient and turn out better results than this app.
Beyond what you expect from customer service

Long story short i booked an appointment with a doc on the app who later tried to claim he was outside my insurance and charge me more for my visit. I contacted zocdoc’s CS team and they reviewed my insurance and the physician’s profile on the app. 3 days later the doctor’s office’s accounts receivable team called and admitted they made a mistake and i no longerowed more than my initial deductible. I cant say my insurance company would have gone to bat for me like this even though they have a similar app. Zocdoc’s CS team is really a cut above the industry standard not just for app support but healthcare.
Great for research doctors and in a pinch for last minute appointments

Been using this app for several years now and have never been disappointed. The ability to view opportunities to book appointments same day/week/month that you are interested in, while also viewing reviews of doctors is awesome!

I love this app! It makes finding and booking doctors visits so much easier! I used to spend hours on google trying to find a doctor only to find out later that they don’t take my insurance.. this app is a life saver!

I like the idea but my insurance is always showing as out of network whenever I search for doctors; sometimes they’ll show me doctors that are hundreds of miles away which is insane. That and some of my doctors that I know are in my network are shown as outside my network. I really hope we get government healthcare.
