Freezes, skips, no sound, etc

When watching recorded shows, they will skip, freeze, no sound, sound doesn’t match picture, etc. thus doesn’t work.
Where’d the record option go?

Why was Record from anywhere taken away

I was sold on the fact that you can record from anywhere. Working late and need to record, pull at your iPad or other device and hit record. Awesome feature. NOW ITS GONE WITH NO EXPLANATION OR DISCOUNT FOR TAKING IT AWAY! Back to the older times where you have to record from home. How's this an upgrade in service?

Can’t set recordings on the go anymore? Literally no reason to take this function away from the app. If Comcast/Xfinity is looking for another cord cutter they have one coming. Update, 1/29: Went to record a show today, and still can’t with the Xfinity app... still one star

Have never seen such a poorly functioning app. Why it just decides to kick out and babble about provisioning is ridiculous. This app has performed badly since I installed it! Very frustrated!
Has become terrible

Used to be a fine app. Now, it’s dismal. Cannot record. Cannot watch most channels when not on home network. Heck, even the video playback these days is always out of sync with audio. Terrible! I will be leaving for DTV shortly simply because this app is horrid.

They should edit this app so it can be used with chromecast. I only have one TV box and use a chromecast in my bedroom. I hate that I have to use my phone to watch any shows on this app. It’d be nice to be able to mirror it to my tv via chromecast.
Removed Features

This app used to be great, however Comcast ruined it bu removing two fundamental, important, and useful features — 1) you can no longer set up a series (or single) recording from the app, and 2) you cannot delete a future recording. You have to go to your TV and set-top box to perform these tasks. These used to be in the app but Comcast took these features away. All you can do now is watch from the app, and delete things that have already been recorded. The app isn’t half as useful as it was. Bring our features back!
