Bring back recording on the go

I used to enjoy setting a recording while on the road. Now it is gone. Why would you get rid of the most helpful feature of this app. I really dislike not having choices with my internet provider otherwise I would dump COMCAST for TV as well.

I used to be able to schedule a recording from the app or also record a live tv program. The option is no longer there! Very frustrated that they removed this option.

Why take away the record away from home feature in the app? To be able to start a recording while away from home was the best feature you had on this stupid app. To take that away makes me want to go to Directv!

Why would you take away the record option? It was the most valuable feature. First I deal with your monopoly on Philly sports, now I can’t set a recording while away from home. Don’t I pay enough already.

This is the final straw. I have stupidly been a loyal Comcast customer for 20 years despite being repeatedly told that I need to give their competitors a try. I used to be able to record shows to my phone that I could download if I chose to and watch during my commute to and from work. I absolutely LOVED the fact that I had a DVR at home and on my phone. Now, I found out that the record function has been disabled if you’re not an X1 customer?! Are they serious?! The X1 prices are absurd and I will never be an X1 customer so it’s time to finally give Verizon a try. This may seem like a small issue, but I already feel like I pay a ridiculous amount of money to Comcast each month for this one perk that I enjoyed to be taken away. It just doesn’t make any sense. They are so money hungry.

I liked the app and then noticed at some point the ability to record shows disappeared. I liked being able to immediately set a recording up from my phone if I read, forgot or someone told me about a show they liked. Now it seems like the only way I can set my dvr to record something is in my house. What nonsense! Dumb move.

New update doesn’t let you record anymore. I also cannot watch all of the channels I could previously only major networks if I’m on my home Wi-Fi. What’s the point? I can’t record, I know I can’t watch them either.
