Nice app but....

Schref69

This is a great app. I’ve been using it for quite sometime now and have experimented with other apps and always come back to this one. So much information contained in this app. It’s got an activity for everything under the sun, except swimming! Add swimming to this app and you get 5 stars from me. Other than that, this is a pretty good app.

Phenomenal workout tracker

Mediocre music player

This app is the best I’ve seen, and it’s super customizable. Perfect for tons of different activities! Plus, the fact that it doesn’t need a subscription is so so wonderful.

Absolutely the best workout app

spencerjet

Ohhh boy this is my first App Store review because I absolutely love this app. Strava was being a pain and not recording some details. Workoutdoors app to the rescue and now I’m getting almost all the data I need for my outdoor runs! Super super customizable and consistently amazing customer support (see other reviews!). Could not ask for more. How spot on is their map/pace overlay! Love the fact that you can trace out your route and it follows your progress during the recap. You have to get this if you’re a more serious runner / interested in your workout data. The best.

must use a watch!

The app said that my phone was good to use bit you need a watch too.

Powerful app

Ja fort worth

I use this to run outside in the Texas heat. It has so many details and extremely customizable. The big plus is you see the gps strength before you get started. That way you can ensure your run is well tracked. This app integrates perfectly with WatchOS. Highly recommended

Customizable and very functional

Okie-SMS

I was looking for a stand alone watch app that would allow me to customize intervals by time and heart rate zone AND cue me to change zones as well as alert me if I fell out of the zone. This app does all of that and more. It runs flawlessly on my series 5. Alerts are delivered with vibration and clear, understandable voice prompts. Great product and the developer is very responsive to emails.

Best running app

Rogel1208

Most useful outdoor activity app. So many measurements that you can personalize.

The Best

Scorpionhunter

One of the best apps (of any type) I have ever come across to date

Perfect companion app for being without service

Codigitty

This is THE app I have been searching for for years! I don’t know why I didn’t find it sooner but I wish I had. I use this app primarily for dirt bike riding and it solves the top two issues I had with all the other apps I’ve tried: not having offline maps *on the watch*, and not using vector-based maps which made for really chunky (sometimes impossible) zooming and panning. After using this app on my Apple Watch for multiple rides, I am blown away and have been raving about it to all my fellow riders. With offline vector-based maps on the watch, our experience when stopping to check the map has been streamlined and been made much more enjoyable. It is the absolutely perfect companion app to have on my watch for dirt bike riding and I would almost buy an Apple Watch just for this app if I didn’t already have one. In addition to dirt bike riding I have also used it for walking, running, and hiking. It’s been great for those activities as well for the same reasons I described above. And the icing on the cake is that there is no subscription required, no micro transactions, and no ads. It’s always difficult for me to blindly pay money for an app that may not be what I want. But now that I know how amazing this app is, I would have gladly paid more and would still recommend it to my friends even at a higher price.

Great app but a terrible flaw

KtmRsv4

I have really tried to love this app and even been a beta user for almost 2 years, however it has a massive flaw in that if you accidentally hit STOP vs Pause during a run (when your watch is wet, your soaked with sweat and tired) there is no going back and you have to start the run over again... I had asked the developer about this and they choose to keep it as is. This for me is a massive issue. The app itself is by far the best available for features, but missing this key feature for me....
