Annoying

It pestered me until i went to this one over the first one. Now there are “rewards” and “prizes”. I just want to play a word and move on. Has really made the game less fun for me.

I like the more user-friendly update. Great work. I do miss a few things however. When looking at the stats where players points or averages are that you’ve played YOUR OWN placement isn’t shown anymore like the last game. I miss the visual comparison. Secondly, I’m never certain when rematching a game with a player if I’ve been selected or if they’ve been selected to rematch. Sometimes one of us HAS to resign. The developer should create the option when rematching a player if the two games can cancel out to just one, or if both players want two games going on simultaneously. On a positive note, I love the definitions coming up when pressing and holding a word, and the new challenges. Keep up the improvements.
Solo Challenges not working

Unfortunately, the Solo Challenges are not working, and for that I am deducting 1 star. I'm giving 1 star for the Smart Matches and 1 star for the Weekly Challenges, which are currently working. I'm not a fan of microtransactions as I don't believe in "pay to win" so I am deducting 1 star. Lastly, while I enjoy the Lightning Round, I do not like how it's a separate section and disconnected from the rest of the game so I am deducting 1 star. My total rating is 2 stars. I would be willing to add a star if the Solo Challenges are fixed. I will not be changing my mind about the microtransactions. If the Lightning Round was integrated better within the main game, I'd be willing to add a star.

Sadly this upgrade, with its new interface, is much less usable than the old version. Navigation is very confusing. I have no interest in any of the new features. All I want to do is play the game with friends.
It’s a fun game but I don’t like the pay-to-cheat model.

Many words that are definitely words aren’t recognized and other iffy “words” are, but you get used to it. I like that the recent update makes looking up words easier, except that often the definitions aren’t available. Paying with “coins” to see where a better word could have been mad is fine, but paying see where tiles could currently go, or especially swapping without passing is just cheating and I wish they’d remove that.

Every.Single.Move. has an accompanying advertisement. After 25 moves I am removing the app. I will look for an alternative. Goodbye.

I love this game but, the ads after every turn are driving me insane!!!! How in gods name do you get rid of the ads?? I’m soon to quit playing if I don’t find an answer.
