Very buggy and unfair

Game often freezes. No longer able to challenge words. Uses obscure words from various cultures but not from others.

I've been playing for years & love the game, but why have the store, when you've changed buying power ups to single purchase while in a game. Makes zero sense. It is a good option, if you've run out, but being able to purchase quite a few makes the game easier . Please put it back, if one is playing a game & needs a power up, it's easy to get out of that game & go to store, purchase what you need & go back to that game. This enhancement was bad.

Game is great in concept but freezes very frequently and sometimes says you've resigned from a challenge game when you have not. Very frustrating. Wish they would fix but have just about given up.

Too many ads

There is an ad after every single move that requires you to wait for the ad and then click multiple times to get rid of it so you can play again. It is ridiculous. This doesn't make me want to buy the game without ads it makes me not want to play it at all because it feels like it is being forced upon me to buy the ad-free version. I do not appreciate that.

Why is it that the words that are thrown out during solo challenge are not anything ever heard of by regular players? Then the letters you are given are all “r” or “I” or do not contain any vowels at all! I think they should have seven letters that they work from, not the entire alphabet

I have experienced constant hanging of Word Rivals - it’s now happening 50% of the time, so frustrating. I’m giving up.

Too much emphasis on coins

Game interface is leading you to spend coins when you are not even trying to do so.

Why can’t I just play without all this ridiculous candy and rewards and crazy looking people who want to play me that I don’t know? And I can’t delete them or resign them? Awful.

I love playing, but hate all the pop up interruptions, some that I have to literally close the app, and clear it, then reopen the app to continue my game. Very annoying to say the least.

Changed the algorithm for solo challenge

I believe the algorithm for upper levels of solo challenge has changed. Now when the app plays it scores over 40 points with each word play. How is that even possible? You have to cheat to even come close and I’ve been playing for several years and this change is obvious.
