Twice now I played solo rounds and the game used abbreviations. I even have screenshots where it did but then wouldn’t allow me to do the same thing. Answer from developers: “We will consider this as a suggestion that will be submitted for review for possible inclusion in future game updates.” Seriously?
Keep it simple

The new version looks great, but... I just want to play a simple game. Please get the old, light version back (or at least let us have the option). There are too many distractions. Don't make the mistake Microsoft made with Skype.

The best game I've ever downloaded. Always free, you can play alone, with friends, or with fellow game players. I am just getting into the new version while it looks better than the older version the lightening round is the biggest difference. I will probably switch over if it doesn't have add blackouts, will see
I don’t like this version

I am unable to open my older version which I liked better because an icon “upgrade to version 2” is stuck on it. I figured if I downloaded the new version it would go away and I could continue with the old but NO the ad is still stuck in it. I hate the new version- my tile letters are smaller and these stupid pop ups happen all the time and I find it gets stuck if you don’t look up the definition of the word even if I don’t want to look it up. I don’t like the light bright color of the screen either. Unless I can get the old one working again I am deleting both of them.

I really like this app, especially all of the new features that have been added. HOWEVER, I was really enjoying the lightning game option but the last week or so every time that I try to play it it not only doesn't let me play, but the countdown freezes and then the entire app freezes, forcing me to kill the app and start over. Very disappointing, and if it was not for that my review would be 5 stars.
Prefer the older version

This newer version looks more juvenile and cartoonish and worst of all, the letter rack is much smaller and harder to see.

Just started this, but original is much better, although it is slowing down. Think they're pushing 2. Too many ads. I have no ads on the first. Getting rid of it. I did purchase the ad free on original WWF, but it did NOT transfer to #2. Fix it!
