WWF2 gameplay improved but ads kill it

I enjoy the different modes and interactive games but finding that the constant ads are killing it for me. I’m on the verge of giving up on the game. Please create a app that is ad free that we can purchase. Thank you.

Interface is Busy, Intrusive, Annoying and Pointless

I have played this game for a few years. It was a fun way to play and chat with friends. But since I’ve had to upgrade to WWF2, the interface is annoying and intrusive. I’m not looking for teams, or upgrades, or badges. I just want to play words with friends.

Same issue as Version 1...

How can “English” be a valid word in the WWF dictionary but not “Latin”? They are both languages! There are Latin Studies offered at Universities and latin phrases all over US currency. Please fix this.

Dislike the daily rewards. And having to look at finished games to remove them from the list. And inclusion of players in stats list with whom I haven’t played in years. The new board looks better but the previous version was better in the way it showed whether a word was valid. I’ve seen several people drop off and stop playing. I’ll be filing the game away for a while.

Great app, maybe even 5 star but the sheer number of ads makes it unbearable to play. I close the app after every turn. Need an ad-free version. Those ads mean nothing to me, it’s not like i even look at them.

I like many things about this game but whenever I want to see the score, there is an ad. And then another and then.... I plan on going back to the original Words to stop that nuisance. If you charged a small fee for the game I may pay that to have the drop down ads gone.

The dictionary is pathetic. You can play words that the in-game dictionary says "this is not a valid words with friends word". You can play weazand which is not a word. You can play Toledo, but can't play Asia. There is no penalty for attempting to play a fake words, so it behooves you to just try random combinations of letters until you randomly get huge points for words that aren't in your vocabulary, or anyone's vocabulary because they aren't words. Fix this nonsense. Be professionals.

New games and challenges are added by the technology behind the game cannot support the add-in’s. Solo challenge freezes frequently. Mine has been frozen for days. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled several times to no avail. Zynga Support doesn’t respond and are often unable to help.

1) I can't stand the new color scheme. The old background blue was much easier on the eyes, and the board was much more appealing; 2) All the new "tools" -- swapping without losing a turn, etc. -- are just crutches for poorer players. I believe in the traditional game and rules. Why should I want to play a new player when I don't know what "rules" they play by? I know for a fact that some of the scores your players have are artificially high because they use "cheats." How am I going to find a "worthy opponent" based on the words/play you report, if I can't know they play without "helpers? 2 stars for poor execution. I was tempted to give you none because your so-called enhancements aren't. Please tell me the 50,000 added words are available to the old version. I'll be overjoyed to stick with it. If the added words are exclusive to the new version, please add them to the old one.
