Locations not online and app defaults to further away locatio

Not sure what is happening recently but both my roommate and I are having issues with the app. The location closest to us has been showing closed or online/off-line for a few weeks now so we are not getting credit for placing orders. Also, agree with others that the app defaults to the location further away at times. Both of us have had to drive to another location to pick up our order not realizing that the app changed locations on us. What’s the purpose of having an app to reward customers when you cannot get it to work correctly.


Did not receive delivery AT ALL!!! No Refund either!!!

This was a delivery! Do not try it! They have no way to cancel and NO COMMUNICATION after trying to contact them after hours of waiting and YES I DID TIP!!!

Good app unless you need a refund. Went to a horrible whataburger in Anna tx, had to leave after they forgot my mobile order was ready for over 40 minutes. 2.5 months later still no refund. Customer service gives me the run around and says its not on them when my refund is processed……

It’s a good app never any issues until it comes down to picking up in the drive through lane. On my last order I sat outside for 30 minutes and never got my order taken out to me. I even called and they kept saying they were about to bring it out.

I don’t know if it’s the location, but it says drive thru isn’t available…as I’m in the drive thru. So j can’t place an order. Secondly I noticed you can enter your receipt to go towards rewards where even if you don’t use the app you can enter the information on your receipt. Every single time I do it says invalid order number even though I am putting it in exactly as it appears. This is terrible that I can’t even get points for my purchases bc of the app.


Delays the online pickup order by 5 minutes

Place your pick up order on the app , and it takes about 5 minutes before the order drops. Then another 8 minutes for your food. So if you live close, get used to waiting for your online pickup order . Sure it’s convenient to order online but drive thru is faster …

I cannot find options to just order a burger alone. I only see options for combos. I placed an order on the app but wanted to change it. There’s no back button or way for me to change what i ordered, only able to add to the order.

You spend 10$+ every vist and you have to Have 5 purchases to get a reward . That’s 50$ right there and the rewards are a small burger or a medium drink ?! Come on that’s a joke .


App is still unstable

Whataburger ... the app still locks up & won’t let you proceed to another order. I have not been able to place an app order since August 2020 bc something always locks up during the ordering process. I urge you to seriously consider hiring a more competent developer for your service. Get customers to “test drive” the app Before release. Thank You


App bug compounded by abysmal customer service

We used this app recently and used the “reorder” function to quickly reorder our last purchase. We didn’t realize until we had paid that the app had doubled the order, despite us pressing the button only once. There is no cancel button. We got to the restaurant before they made the food and they couldn’t cancel it. We contacted customer service, they didn’t answer. The restaurant made us both orders and I called customer service the next day again. They answered and escalated the case. The people whom they escalated it to took a week to respond and said there was nothing they could do. Completely abysmal customer service. Whataburger isn’t what it used to be.
