Used to be better

Okay, the app is still better than a hand written shopping list, so it does get some stars. But the original version of the app was just way better. You could zoom in on photos of the items, which is useful sometimes when you’re trying to read about the product. You could check the items you put in your cart and then at the end, you could clear all the checked items. It was just so easy. Now you have to manually delete each item. And maybe it’s user error, but things disappear from the list!! It could be a matter of hitting the trash can icon after the page has shifted, but items definitely disappear from the list. And as one other reviewer mentioned, you can’t add an item that’s not in stock. You can’t even find an item that’s not in stock. It would be useful, if for nothing else, so you know what aisle it would be on and you could go to that aisle and choose an alternate product. But perhaps it’s back in stock before you actually go there? So why not let us find and add things that aren’t in stock? Come on Wegmans! Bring back the old app!!
Bring back note items!!!

App used to have a feature to add a free form note item - and I could put in a reminder to pick up an Rx or look for a type of item with specifying. Had a little red circle with a white plus in the lower right corner and now it’s not there. Add to that items in store not being listed in app, and items in the app not being available in the store, it’s a really frustrating experience
Add to cart needed per item

The old version had the ability to check off and add some items of the prior order to the shopping cart. You can no longer do that. Nor can you tap on the item to go to it from a previous order. Both of those functions I used heavily. Please bring it back !!! This new version is so time consuming.
When it works it’s great

App is very buggy and fails quite often where I have to delete and download again which is frustrating. Outside of that when it works it’s great but can be very slow to pull up items or shopping list.
Great, except for unavailable items

If something gets added to my list, but then is unavailable, it just disappears. It needs to be listed as “unavailable “ instead, like on the walmart app. Please fix!!
Out of stock items being auto removed

So I actually love this app and it would be 4 or 5 stars if they didn’t recently change how they handle out of stock products. Recently the app has decided to auto remove products you have in your list when they’re out of stock (as opposed to just graying them out previously). This is super frustrating because when items are out you remove them from my list and I don’t realize it until I need the item I’ve put down to purchase (or at least give me the opportunity to buy a similar product). I put an item on the list this past week - must’ve been out of stock so it was auto removed. I forgot to go look for it (and then could’ve seen for myself it was out of stock and purchased a different one). Very frustrating.
Unwanted notifications

The app keeps sending me notifications for sales and junk - despite disabling all notifications settings in the app. The only way to stop it would be to tell iOS to block notifications completely, but then I wouldn’t get notifications for curbside pickup. Instead I am just deleting the whole app.
Where did my recent items go?

The app used to be so easy to check off all my recent items for each order. Now I have to scroll through pages of things I never buy that I assume are promotional items and rely on search for things that I get every single week! It’s way to time consuming now!!
Items automatically get deleted

Everything in this app works pretty well EXCEPT the fact that items will disappear without warning. I use the app as a shopping list throughout the week and it's so frustrating when we realize well after shopping that we didn't purchase the item(or something similar) because it got removed from our list. HEY APP DEVELOPERS, PLEASE FIX THIS!
Wegmans online ordering always a poor experience

They use Instacart on the backend to fulfill orders and take no ownership of resulting poor experiences. I won’t be shopping at Wegmans again or using this app.
