Needs an update

Right now this app is good for accessing your files remotely but it really needs to be updated with iOS11 compatibility. There is no split screen support and so no drag and drop I can also confirm that in iOS 11 auto update is not working if the app is not open A “files” integration would also be much welcome
Recent update makes this useless for downloads

After taking the most recent update the download speed has decreased to the point that my downloads fail, even on same network. Was a great app before that. I can only hope the developers see this and make the necessary improvements to restore app to its previous capabilities.
Needs Major Improvement & Functionality

This app could be updated to make it versatile and speeds. I like the option on being able to view files remotely but I would also like to know key health parameters of the drive. To add to this the ability to remotely wake it or sleep a device is useful. I used to have a Windows Home Server 5 years ago that had this features, and would have thought WD would incorporate this and other features. I like tech but setting up the cloud and drive is not easy. I hate that if you share one sub folder with someone , it shares the entire folder. There is a lack of add on apps. WD should encourage developers to make meaningful apps for this platform. WD should look at the forums they have set up and follows user recommendations.
Good app and great product, but...

I enjoy using the app and how easy it is to transfer and share files. My only complaint is that it’s been about two weeks now, and there is still no support for Apple’s new file system. The pictures that back up automatically, can’t be viewed due to the app not supporting the file. Please get this fixed, I’m tired of looking at question marks when I try to view my pictures.

IOS 11.1 —> Finally IOS now you can browse for your files including clouds, however WD cloud is not listed there. Can you please update the app in order to make that happen?
My Cloud Doesn’t Work As Advertised

App is fine but the whole WD My Cloud only works when on my own Wi-Fi network. When out of my Wi-Fi range - forget it, it’s a total disaster. It will not connect. About 3 weeks ago spent 40 minutes with WD tech support to get it to work that ONE DAY. Next day and all days since - IT DOES NOT WORK unless you are 10 feet from your Router. It’s a shame because the concept is great. The delivery - is really bad!
No Thumbnails
I think I like it!
No thumbnails for photos or videos, like WD Photos had, for MyBookLive and Duo. You have to open every photo to see what it is. So app is pretty much useless for me. Please bring back the lad apps like WD Photos....

I have loved my cloud for the last year but now I’m trying to save my photos from my new iPhone on it with the new format HEIC and my cloud does not support it. I take a lot of pictures and it is the only reason why I bought the device and now it has become worthless. Please update!
