Always fails at backing up Photos from iPhone

I am trying to backup the photos of my iPhone, it goes to the “preparing” phase... but it never completes. It fails around 1 and 2 gigs (lots of photos, 1970 items, 10 Gigs). What drives me mad is that it starts back again from the beginning - why can’t the App RESUME from the point it failed??? This way I will never be able to use this unit as an iPhone photos backup! I tried several times. Already closed all running apps, rebooted either the iPhone and the disk. I have a “My Passport Wireless” 1TB, most recent firmware, with an iPhone 8 Plus.

I am satisfied with the app. It does what it is suppose too. Yes it could add some more fancy features but it runs fine. I liked the personal cloud because every other service out there only gives you so much space for free before they charge you a more monthly fee.

Doesn't Auto Upload

This doesn't backup to the cloud automatically, when the app is in the background. It only uploads when it the phone is actively in the app and awake. Meaning you must turn off the auto sleep function and keep it plugged in. So your phone cannot be used while uploading.

No ready for prime time!!

A bit more work to be done, shorter and less step to go where you need to go, art work and bigger icon for media would be nice.

A great job has been done with the last update but there are still some features that would greatly improve this app: - drag and drop is not here yet - files integration is not supported - auto update only works if the app is open and not in the background Overall this app does what it promises and is stable

Degraded use with each update

The app needs work. The app cannot backup your iPhone automatically because it isn’t able to backup in the background or if the phone locks. The app as of Jan 2018 *constantly* crashes. When the app and WD MyCloud first came out, things worked well enough. At this point spending money on a MAS, WD needs to step their experience in software up.

I use the app with a PR2100 for viewing purposes only on my IPad Pro. Works well both at home and on the road.

No network error

I log in to app, see folders, open a file and get an error that I am not connected to the internet.
