I normally don't write app reviews but they are just such a waste that I want to warn people! First of all, their app doesn't mention any restrictions, so I sent in 3 Dry Clean Only items that I have never had an issue with at any dry cleaner. It was a leather jacket, a faux leather jacket and one curtain. I had never used Washio, so I'm not sure if the guy who picked it up followed normal protocol but he never asked what items I was giving them. Then the next day I received an email saying that they do not clean leather or faux leather jackets because of a risk of cracking. I've never been told that before by a cleaner but okay. It also said that means zero items would be cleaned so I emailed him back asking about my curtain since that wasn't mentioned. And I received an email back saying that they don't clean curtains because they don't have a machine big enough. But seeing as their app said they clean large blankets and duvet bed spreads and other household items such as this that makes no logical sense. I think they just realized I'll be under their $30 minimum and don't want to do it. If you have such a large restrictions to what you will clean you need to mention it in your app or have the people pick up the clothes ask what you're giving them! Now I have to wait 2 more days to get my stuff back and will have to take it somewhere else... What a joke! Horrible way to do business.

This was amazing! We placed an order and one hour later the guy came to pick up our laundry. He was super friendly and gave us a cookie! The next day the laundry was returned folded and organized so it was breeze to put away. Loved the service and beat spending the day at the laundromat!

Washio used to be great - fast, reasonably priced, quality work. I don't know what happened, but now the ONLY benefit of using Washio is that they mess up so often, I get discounts on all my orders. Their app is extremely glitchy, and when I complain, they tell me I need to download the latest version (I have). The drivers are consistently late - I haven't gotten my clothes delivered within my half hour window the last few times I've used Washio. Most recently, they gave me someone else's clothes, then told me they couldn't give me my clothes until the next day - 12 hours after my delivery window. Will never use this again.

Started out great. The customer service was top notch and all of the pricing was reasonable for the convenience. Now, the delivery fee has increased, there is an arbitrary $30 minimum and it takes an extra day to get your close back. Sounds like the business model is under some pressure and they are passing on costs and inconvenience to the customers. What a shame.
