Unreliable Service

I have tried Wash.io few times and I had issues almost all the times. One time they gave me a white business shirt with a big black stain. Another time they came 30 minutes late for drop off. These are not huge issues (and that's why I am giving 3 stars) and I hope they will fix their process. The app is nice and the special bags they use are sturdy and classy.

Amazing

Washio is awesome!

It's too difficult to go to dry cleaners after I get out of work because most cleaners are closed by the time I arrive. Washio saves me a lot of time, and pick-up & delivery guys are always on time and so kind!

This is going to be long but i've been using washio for half a year now due to the lack of laundry facility at my building, and today I found someone else's socks in my order and just got so annoyed with their crap and decided to finally write a review for this app 1. When i first used this app, i was skeptical but the price was fair so i gave it a try and they shrunk 7 of my shirts... 2. Everytime i sent it in i lose some of my socks... Some makes back but without the other half... Every . single . Time! Without exception 3. They were willing to stretch my shirts for me... But they lost a shirt when they did it... They repaid me for the shirt... And lost some more of my socks 4. They boosted up the price, doesn't seem like that much but the totally almost double the price it was originally 5. Somewhere along the line they decided to not pay their ninjas and have them get tipped instead.. 6. You can tell how money hungry they r from 4 and 5 but thats not all, they constantly over book even if u book a week in advance they would still cancel u on the spot 7. I was scared they would mix my cloth with other peoples and now i know for a fact they do Do not use!!!!!

Worst Laundry Service in my life!

@Celeny

Washio has the worst suppliers. I am a female and a LARGE male jeans came with my clothes. PLUS, the clothes came back looking like a cow ate them and spit them out! I will NEVER use Washio again!

I've used Washio several times and while the started out great, they've taken a sharp turn for the worse. A couple orders ago they shattered a button, which is no big deal, so I asked them on the next order to repair it using one of the spares. Instead of doing that, they simply removed the button and managed to damage the buttons on 4 other shirts. I texted their support to complain, but they texted back that I have to email the complaint with pictures, etc. Well, I got busy and didn't get around to emailing for several weeks. It turns out you have to send that email within 7 days of receiving the order or else you're SOL (which was never mentioned in the text). Another hidden charge is the $30 minimum. Instead of hitting you with a reasonable fee to recoup their costs, they just arbitrarily make your order $30 no matter the size. Speaking of costs, they've gone up significantly. They also started making their drivers dependent on tips. Oh, and their 30 minute window is just an estimate. Don't be surprised if your driver shows up early by 10-15 minutes (they don't tell the drivers the actual window, so not the drivers' fault). If their margins are too thin to repair a few buttons and pay their drivers a decent wage, and have less flexibility than a local cleaners (when convenience is supposed to be the big draw), then I don't think this company is long for this world. Use at your own peril.
