Order receipt won't go away unless I force close app

The app crashed three times in a row the first time I used it. Terrible first run experience. Shocked that they would release an app without testing it properly. Update (three months later): App still crashes after ever receipt/delivery review Another update: it is truly astonishing that this company could so obviously make the decision not to care about their app working properly. All of the same problems still exist. What's going on? Did they burn through their funding? The app prompted me to review it again. Still 1 star!

I really wanted Washio to be great, but it's dodgy. Set up my first pickup: no confirmation message or email. I can't see any order history or pending pickups in the app. So I called customer support the day-of to confirm: call won't go through. No recorded message, nothing. The line is dead. So I SMS for support. No reply. Then no one showed up during the pickup window. Now I'm trying to remove my credit card because I'm sketched out and CAN'T EVEN DELETE MY CREDIT CARD. They seem well able to send me unsolicited marketing emails, but apparently that's all they're good for. Beware!

Been trying to order a pickup for a week. Unable to retrieve times for pickup and drop off!! Their main Rest API is not working!!

the basic 48-72 hour wash and fold service was fine, but the app was literally unusable. It would get stuck on the "receipt" screen, or fail to populate dropdowns, or just freeze. I gave up and chose a different service with a functioning smartphone app.
Too bad it doesn't work anymore.

I liked this service. Even while I knew it was too expensive. They no longer operate in Santa Monica ... app always just says "loading times" and never loads. RIP Washio!

Don't bother with this app. The company recently went out of business and the service they provide is no longer available. Of course, the app doesn't indicate this until you've already signed up for a now-useless account.

With a recent app upgrade, the app no longer displays any pick-up or drop-off times effectively making the app useless. Further, in my last order they mis-pressed a pair of pants leaving a giant fold in the side. Lame.
Service as exceptional as the app itself

Really can't say enough about my first experience with Washio, all was perfect. The largest benefit for me was being able to select an evening drop off. I work long hours so it's a real plus to get late delivery at no extra cost.

The wash and fold service used to be a $1.39 per pound. Now it's gone up to $1.99 a pound, so I won't use it at that price. Otherwise, the service was always very professional.
