Washington Post has been historically reliable

HugAPineapple

This app show the Washington Post. A reliable news source for years.

Missing the old app

scgnef

This new app drives me crazy. Every time my hand grazes the edge of a page, it turns to the next page, and when I go back to what I was reading, it displays the full page, not where I zoomed into. Why can’t I keep using the old app?!?!

I can’t give the WP a higher complement than to say I trust and depend on your organization and all that you do.

Avoid false equivalency! This is absolutely essential.

StarMals

Mostly smart reporting - few mistakes (editors are human after all), sustained credibility for facts and truth. The content allows for a variety of opinions, including those I am uncomfortable with so I avoid confirmation bias.

Amazing

The news 24/7

The Washington Post app is very easy to use and is great for users.

Stop interrupting me

Htcamp

I want to read the news without the app asking me any questions. If I wanted to be annoyed, I would let children with no patience surround me.

Crossword Technical Issues

DaveGoIllini

When I leave the crossword I lose all of my progress. Find someone with an ounce of common sense and some programming skill to fix it please. ?

Best Newspaper App

Pliant177

I find the UI very intuitive so there is no confusion about where to find articles. I enjoy the app on my iPad best simply because the larger screen makes it easier to read. The content from the Post is honestly the best in the business in my humble opinion. Finding saved articles and older articles is also easy.

Adjust font and font size for accessibility

SookieCanBiteMe

Offer sans serif fonts and access to larger font sizes in app.

What I love and the not so much

Love the Spanish podcasts, dislike so much male sports sent to me as if I was interested. I’d like more “outside the box” coverage with historical background. How about articles about how movies and books that lie have influenced and continue to make a difference in thoughts and actions today. For example, literature (both fiction and nonfiction) and at least one John Wayne movie about the Álamo can affect how we look at not just Texas politics today, but also slavery. There are several Mexican who have written on the topic.
