Please Fix The Voice Speed

In many ways, this seems like a great newspaper app. Unfortunately, it falls miserably short in the one area that I absolutely need. I have been listening to The Washington Post on Audible for years. Since it was discontinued this app is the only way for me to listen to the paper. Unfortunately, the ability to control the voice speed is extremely inconsistent. Every once in a while (maybe 1 in 10 times) the article plays with a male voice which can be adjusted tup to 2X speed which is how I listen to it. However, most of the time it is a female voice that is painfully slow and cannot be adjusted. The whole reason I subscribed to the Post and downloaded the app was because of the ability to listen to the paper. The slow speed is a deal breaker for me and if it is not fixed I will have to cancel my subscription.
Comics have not loaded properly since 2022!

You need to fix this app.It is broken. Since the beginning of the year now five days ago theComics have not downloaded.The current versions are not available all the ca be seen is last Sundays.
forced to “upgrade” to new version

The Washington Post is an institution. It has survived for many years by keeping up with the developing aspects of modern news reporting. I still like the printed version and read that every day. For breaking news the online version keeps me up to the minute. I make sure I download the printed version every day, because I love to read the daily comics.

The Washington Post has historically brought a truthful accounting of actual events and commentary directly affecting Our Country for nearly 150 years. In modern times, The WP has continued their reputation for deep and at times, necessarily anonymous sourcing at the heart of Our Government in D.C. and the work of WP reporters has nearly always proven to be accurate upon ongoing reflection. Op/Eds are timely and present the various positions held by newsmakers, scholars and elected officials regarding the issues of the day. Copies of The WP should be in every High School and University library in the nation. Any reader seeking to remain informed in historic and/or current events of our world should be a subscriber.
