Renewal of subscription

Seabiscuit 47

Trying to renew my subscription to WAPO today has been a frustrating and unrelieved headache! 1. When I learned that my subscription had expired yesterday I assumed that the original payment account had expired. However there was no evident way to update my account. 2. I sent an email to the contact address asking for assistance...to no avail. My request is “under review” by WAPO staff. That was over three hours ago. 3. I called your 800 help line to speak to someone to help me. The person at the other end of a poor connection “Marna”(?) was ploddingly unhelpful. When she finally understood that I simply wanted to renew my subscription, she said she’d connect me to someone else. After several minutes wait I was disconnected. I still need help, and it’s clear that you need help as well. I look forward to your reaching out....I hope. Sincerely, Phil Williams 152 12th St, SE Washington, DC 20003

WaPo news coverage is the best

I am an Amazon Prime subscriber to the Washington Post at a $3.99 per month rate. For 13 cents per day I have access to the all the news at a fraction of the rate of The NYTimes

Thanks Jeff Bezos

The Post has become the necessary newspaper. Smart interesting and humane. In addition its digital design is excellent.

More than three clicks are needed to access the front page, plus there is no ability to link to twitter, nor is there any cross functionality with other WP formats.

Darkness over Washington

salvus1000

Such a variety of accounts of the nuances of events in our nation’s capital. At a time when truth and honesty have become casualties in our political discourse the Post keeps its bright light shining. Essential reading in these times.

Unbalanced

The Washington Post has become an unreliable source of news in regard to anything to do with President Trump because the paper and its staff are so obviously biased against him and his policies. Most of what is written in the paper about Trump belongs in the editorial sections not the news section because what is written as “news” is so biased.
