They need to redo the log in experience

I really want to rate it ⭐️⭐️⭐️ but I know you won’t read it. The business and security people in charge of this app need to rethink the frequency of use of the app, I’m assuming most will not use this app daily or not even probably weekly. Stop logging us out after a few days of inactivity! You’re driving users away with this! Add better support for iCloud Keychain in the username/pass fields’s. Drop the requirement to enter a PIN. I like how I can read how much I have in the tank for my 2019 Atlas, and ability to flash or honk lights (although slow). The push notifications are great to see that I left my car unlocked but I really want to see is another push notification saying I did lock it afterward. Telling me my car was unlocked or door was open 20 minutes ago when I finally see the push doesn’t mean anything to me. I want to know if those events have “cleared” or did not clear like “was left unlocked for 20 minutes”
Sign up process is a pain

I have read the reviews and multiple complaints about this service. Very disappointing but I am still going to try it so my daughter has access to the emergency service and roadside assistance, assuming those work. The process of signing up is painful. Why can’t you sign up online or with the app like every other similar service. Why did I have to spend 10+ minutes on the phone with someone, and provide my credit card information over the phone??? If it was my car, rather than my daughter’s, the sign up process itself would have caused me to not subscribe.

Logs you out every day and rarely loads to even lock my door. Doesn’t do much as far as controlling the car. Gm and ford have remote start.
Dumbest smartphone app possible

Steps that should take a few seconds take forever. Just about every time you open the app you’ll have to re-enter your password. In theory you can login using Touch ID, or pull in the password easily from your iCloud Keychain, but neither of these features seem to work. Then there’s a 4-digit PIN for some reason, and THEN...you get to wait forever for the app to pull in basic info from your car. Want to set up charging timers for your e-Golf? Get ready for a built in browser, where you can re-enter your login and password again and then try to navigate around a terribly designed website. VW should fire whoever signed off on this app and start over from scratch.

It says I got a pin and an account number during registration load of crap… can’t add a car without a pin or an account number that I didn’t get! Waste of time!

This won’t even work. I can’t even log in on the app or online and all they can tell me is that I need to call back at another time! Throw the whole service away! Don’t waste your time or money or memory!

The app would be great if it worked ALL the time. I am glad that I have a trial subscription because now I know the subscription isn’t worth the $17.99 a month. You guys have to to better than this.

What car manufacturer has an app for your car that won’t start it from the App? I paid $300 extra to get a remote start in my 2019 Jetta SEL Premium, and there isn’t an app that starts it remotely? A friend just purchased a mid tier Chevy and it came equipped with a remote start app that’s free! This app is a joke, and not worth the price. Don’t waste your money. Just go get a 3rd party system that includes these features plus remote options. I didn’t even get into how slow it takes to even unlock the car with this app.

Still garbage after years of using it. Can’t log in to the app, but the webpage lets me in just fine. Why don’t you take a look at what your competition is dong and at least try to not embarrass yourselves VW - this app is just garbage and years behind everyone else.
