We have had this service for about 8 months now and we were also having issues with it before because of our poor WiFi provider. Since we have a new WiFi provider and it has improved. The one thing that frustrates me is my cameras are set up to record when something is sensed for 30 second. Instead it will basically record every little thing every freaking minute! Which is okay except for all the useless recordings that use up sooo much space on my system and phone! Besides that my alarm system, sensors and emergency services has been very quick on responsive! Vivint update your app to be able to clear storage instead of weekly make it daily!?

The worst customer service

On 11/24 after waiting over 40 minutes on hold the tech answers and is rapid fire trying to talk me through the system to reconnect my camera. I told her I was feeling rushed and she put me on hold only to disconnect me. After calling back and waiting Another 36 minutes on hold a person scheduled a tech for 10-12 noon on 11/25. On 11/25 no one showed so I called at 12:30. The operator said the tech was dispatched. After 3pm I recalled and they stated the tech called in sick and rerouted my call to another tech. Further investigation showed the tech cancelled my service visit. They offered me a 15 dollar credit and rescheduled me for 11/28 Refer this company? Never

This “Vivint System” works Great !, so far...”It actually alerts us on our mobile phones whe were out for the day; no matter what time it may be... It also lets us speak to whoever’s @ our door without even being there! This system has many other ways to alert ? us if something is not right @ the homefront! I can absolutely say that “I Love, this System !!!”.. Nd, I Would, Recommend it to anyone who needs a security system for their home !!!”... “Thank Youu, “VIVINT SECURITY !!!”..?????

I love this app. Easy to use and I’m notified when any outside activity is detected by the camera and I can immediately see what the activity is about.

App would be great if the smart assistant notification didn’t keep coming up every single time I open the thermostat. Once I open the thermostat part of the app, the smart assistant notification pops up and takes over the entire screen and i can’t get out of it. This has been happening for the last 2 months
Great App - Works as Advertised

I upgraded from an older ADT system to the latest Vivint system. This application ties everything together perfectly. I can supervise the security of my home from my office 70 miles away. The alerts arrive on time to let me know if someone is at my door or if a sensor is activated. The interior camera is awesome; I can talk to my wife through the camera’s speaker. The peace of mind I now have is very comforting. Thanks Vivint!
