The developers need to get on the ball with the app and iPhone. It’s is very buggy and needs a serious over haul. Get with the program and hire some decent help to get this app working like it should!!
Far too many flaws for security

This app and system lacks majorly. It states that my front door is unlocked when it’s not, the doorbell constantly goes offline when there’s no problems with my WiFi modem or router, etc. Starting to regret getting Vivint altogether. Lesson learned.

I use this app nearly every single day. It's handy not just for arming my security system, but also connecting with family, since I can use it to have two-way voice (and I get video, too!) conversations via the cameras (indoor and doorbell) that I have. I've used it to create automation rules so my lights come on every evening. My kids love to use it to turn off their lights at bed time. My wife uses it daily, too, to control our thermostats. I’ve read reviews on the App Store which talk about problems they are having, but my system has been nearly flawless! To those having issues, I’d recommend calling Vivint’s customer support. They’ve been very helpful when I’ve called with questions before.

Great system for our simple needs. We don’t have WiFi so it’s great to operate on cellular. Super easy to use and the Vivint team is super helpful

I have been a paying customer of the service for two years now and have asked multiple times with reviews, emails and phone calls to add VoiceOver support. NOTHING. If you go with this application and this company you are going to be overpaying for what you will receive and do not expect anything from the customer support.

I love the control I have with my home! From saving money with the thermostat to the security of seeing who’s at my front door and turning on lights when no one is home. It’s great that all of this control is with just one app! I have a friend that uses 5 or 6 apps for the same type of control, it’s like having 5 or 6 remotes for your TV, it’s too confusing. There is no better way to keep your family safe and secure!

We have several rental properties. It’s nice to monitor the one that’s 400+ miles away! I love that I can also control the thermostat with the app! So far I love the app, the people I’ve dealt with, and the technology! Don’t wait any longer. GET VIVINT!!

They need to start from scratch. App is very unresponsive, slow and does not communicate well with the at home system.
