Shame on you for calling this stuff software. It configures NOTHING! Automatically or Manually... When it decides to stop crashing, it serves up a lovely (but totally useless) dialog box alerting that it “failed to connect and the device should be within 3 meters of the AP.” No, I’m not kidding. My wife purchased (camera bulbs etc), as a surprise to replace 2 real cameras that died after 8 years. I’m deleting this horrid software following this review and to avoid hurting my wife’s feelings, quietly putting these lousy camera/bulbs in with the rest of the garbage. Shame on you!

I can only connect to the camera if I am on the same WIFi network. If I’m away at work, there is no way to connect. If there is please let me know.

The install of this product was time consuming. After we finally got it installed, it took numerous attempts to log in and bring up the picture. I was under the impression that it scanned, panned, tilt and rotate, but it doesn’t. I don’t know if it’s because it’s a 720, which I didn’t know would make a difference, but apparently it does. We got fed up with trying over and over to log in, so I bought 2 different cameras. Those work like they’re supposed to, instant on, in real time. And those were 1080. I would NOT RECOMMEND THIS 720 camera.

My cameras both look offline after the new update. I tried deleting and logging back in but didn’t work. Anybody has the same problem?

Never works when I first set up it was fine but about 2months later and it is always offline and you can’t check Settings for WiFi unless your in WiFi... how stupid is that ?????

It’s an ok camera for the price. I bought this specifically so I could see my kids while I’m not home without spending an arm and a leg to do so. The camera itself has a small lag to the video but over all is great. It was a bit confusing to set up the first time but o my took a few minutes to figure out. My only complaint is you can’t have to too far from your internet router or it will disconnect. Also when switching from router to LAN, you essentially have to completely reset your camera. Once you switch to LAN it will not allow you to switch back to router mode when home, you have to reset the camera which is a pain.
