Purchased two of these cameras a few weeks ago. Great device, just awful to set up. Can’t get it to link no matter what I do. Directions are not clear as it still does not work after I have followed them. Too many steps. I’ll just stick to my ARLO

I bought this to monitor my waiting room since my office is located where I cannot see if anyone's there. Great price. Seemed simple to set up. Since it's from China, the directions are printed in English apparently using a transcription app. Words are lost in translation and terms used are not what we're used to Reading. Some of the language is very proper, humble and grateful, but ultimately incomplete enough that maybe 40% of the directions are useful. Despite all of this, what ultimately led me to return it was, after downloading the app, as instructed, I could not get the app to see the device and link up. I tried auto-detect and manual add. Sometimes, you get what you pay for. Developers just need to rewrite the owners manual using someone FLUENT in English and update the app significantly. I have an iPhone 7.
