Not worth it!

Second time trying this restaurant, nothing to write home about. Coconut, mango rice dessert was dry, hard and not worth the $9. Chicken curry not bad wide rice noodle dish not great.

Pretty Satisfied

I’ve order 3 times from Uber Eats, and actually against all the negativity it’s been a thrilling adventure. Every driver I’ve come into with contact have been very pleasant. My food is always on time, fresh, and hot. Could’ve be more happier...let’s keep it going.

Too expensive

That’s it. Too expensive.

Spiraling downwards.

pleaseeeeeworkkkkk

Fee’s to order keep going up, and mistakes with delivery are keeping pace. Customer service is awful and keeps you waiting for a response until you forget about your dispute.

Never refunded my money

I made a purchase using the summer20 eats code, which made my order free. Ubereats still charged my acct for the total purchase. I called customer service and the charges were “allegedly reversed”. Needless to say, it’s been three weeks and I have yet to receive my refund. I called and was told they reversed the charges and there’s nothing else they could do. I’m currently going through my bank to get my money back. I will never use ubereats again, and the sad thing about this is I have been a delivery driver for them for about 6 months. I’ve even stopped driving for them.

Customer Service = impersonal; lackadaisical

I had been using and enjoying the app for some time without any issues. One day I received an order I had placed and the order was missing two items. I quickly contacted support and was offered a refund for a measly $2. By my account, the refund did not cover the value of the missing items. I wasn’t looking for a full refund (or any refund for that matter), but merely wanted the items I had paid for. I then contacted support, explaining that I felt the refund was insufficient. Each and every time I received a response from a support representative; each and every time the response appeared to be a canned response, and each and every time I was told that there was nothing else they can do. I presented the service team with my calculations, and why I felt that the response (a $2 refund) was inadequate. I understand that Uber Eats is not the company That makes the food or sells the food. I understand they are merely a delivery service. I also understand that when a company enters into an agreement with another company to provide services for a mutual customer, each company should take an equal approach in correcting the issue or addressing the customer’s concerns. I also assume that Uber has agreements with these companies in which Uber Eats likely recovers monies they refund to customers from the company that is selling the product. In this case, I am paying for a service in which I have hired Uber Eats to manage my payment to the company I’m doing business with and to then deliver the product or products I paid for-in this case food items. When I pay to have something delivered, I do so because I’m too lazy to go pick it up, or I just enjoy the convenience of the service that company provides. When I don’t get the product I ordered, the last thing I want to do is to go to the business selling the product to address the situation-otherwise I would have gone in the first place. I realize that Uber’s partnership with these companies has checks and balances in place. It’s the duty of the company to ensure the bag is properly sealed and has all the items paid for. It’s also, according to Uber’s website, the duty of the delivery driver to confirm with the company the order is correct prior to delivering the order. In this case that doesn’t appear to have happened-either that or the company fulfilling the order lied when the Uber driver verbally confirmed with the establishment that the order was correct. Long story short: I feel that Uber Eats is ultimately responsible for the entire transaction, as the service they are providing is one in which Uber and its employees (come on Uber, we know the whole contractor setup is borderline unethical and the “contractors“ are treated like employees without the benefits) are the face of the transaction. After all, I can’t personally confirm with the restaurant that no items are missing as I have paid to have all the items delivered. I have since requested both my Rider account and Eats account be closed. After rejecting all the negative commentary about the company in the media, and assuming that Dara the Explorer (CEO) being at the helm would put to rest all the negativity, I came to realize the company just doesn’t get it yet. I wasn’t asking for much. Just what I ordered or at least a fair refund for the items I did not receive.

This is why I use Postmates

Extremely mad super

Uber Eats have a lot to work. They don’t have a good variety of options, the customer service is not great, and the site can be confusing. I didn’t have an account but when I tried to purchase something there was an option to create an account. But then it tells me to sign in. I don’t have an account how am I supposed to sign in?? And it won’t let you continue without signing in......??

Good app, restaurant quality questionable

The app works well until there are issues with your order. You go through the app instead of the restaurant, which causes a delay in order corrections is something’s delivered incorrectly. Which, apparently, is happening more and more. Not sure what’s up with that. Better off ordering take out directly from a place.

Was great til recently

Magicalaidsfr0g

Spent 30 mins looking at an eta that didnt budge only to be told once the food was picked up that the driver has another order to complete and that the delivery was going to take an extra 25 mins to deliver... it’s queens so that doesn’t even accurately account for traffic. That has never happened before, and while i understand the driver should be allowed more orders, the eta should reflect that from the start.

I love this app!!

I stumbled across this app looking for something else and I ended up downloading them both.. I FELL IN LOVE WITH THIS APP INSTANTLY!! I’m a diabetic and the other app doesn’t (and wouldn’t that day when my sugars were f**king 54) deliver food everywhere just to places close too it’s business so I took a gamble and used Uber Eats and it came right too me at dialysis I might add and saved me!! So needless too say I’m very great full for this app and the person who showed up that day. I won’t be ordering from jimmy johns any time soon
