Absolutely unacceptable to be being charged more than I was told. I am being charged almost $80 over what I was told plus was never told I had to fill the tank as well. Was only told it would be $40 plus mileage and was not told about filling tank til I was picking up the van but filled it anyway. I will change my review if these mistakes are fixed. Please call me at 5095603782 to correct these transactions.

The app was so slow and took us 45 minutes to complete check in process. By the time we were “approved” (which- there is no heads up that you will need someone on standby to verify your existence or to bring your passport), the office was opened and we could have just started there. Additionally, the app instructed us to go to the office to get a key!!! How would we have gotten the key if the app had worked in a timely manner?? Also the app gave us the wrong truck, which we had already moved all our supplies into, so we had to move everything out and into the correct truck. Oh, and we were on hold waiting for assistance the entire time… never spoke to representative. Also tried using the chat feature, which no one replied to my questions. Should have gone with Penske. Never will I use U-Haul again.

They confirmed a 3 day rental and backed out and only gave 1 day. I had a comfirmation email and all. I had to forcibly keep it a second day and still didn’t finish. This ruined my move. I have been a U-Haul user in the past but never again.

So I am not impressed with this app at all. There was information that could have been revealed on this app that would have saved me hundreds of dollars but it failed to show up here. I would not use the app nor would I use this company in the future. Take pictures of everything when you rent one of their trucks and I am talking about the back the front the speedometer the gas gauge the whole 9 yards. This is a very shady company anymore I have used them for the last 40 years and I will never use them again!
Easy - especially for returns.

Like any app it has its ups and downs, but it’s worth it just for how easy it makes the return process.

The truck was dirty and muddy in the cab but I guess it’s normal for some people….not me. Besides that, the process online was smooth and easy. Just download the app.

Didn’t work as well in android. Took fifteen minutes and still didn’t work to upload photos so we had to borrow an iPhone
App doesn’t give complete directions

I arrived 2 hours after my pickup time using the 24/7 self help service. It wouldn’t work and the uhaul phone customer service wait was 2 hours and 42 minutes. It doesn’t tell you ANYWHERE that if you change your time the app pickup process will work. The office was closed and it took many trials to figure it out. Would be MUCH EASIER if you just told people that.
