You would expect more at a company that operates remotely. Also why no iPad app?

Underwhelming & bad app

I’ve been more than underwhelmed with the styling and the app - in the past two weeks it literally is non functional. The messages screen doesn’t even load.

A google search on outfits has more common sense then this. Don't people go to college for this stuff? I worked in retail for 8 years and can pick way better outfits than these snobs. This is more stress than its worth. And they work with UPS. Infamous “what’s a package” company which is scary because thats 300 dollars worth of clothing that you expect me to just have sit outside. I should have saw it as a trap a mile away. Shopping is stressful, time to shop these days is nearly impossible. I put trust in people and its just one big middle finger on something very personal to many people. Oh and thanks for just throwing stuff in anyway even after I said no.

Not so easy

With the inability to shop in person, I thought this would be the great way to shop. Unfortunately, not. Too many cooks do spoil the broth. At least 5 different people helped me, but no one seemed to listen or take note of my preferences that are recorded online on the Trunk Club app. Very odd. And I ended up keeping only a few items, none of which I had been shopping for. It seemed like I was being offered only sale or discontinued items. And definitely these did not “build” any outfit. Even though the staff was pleasant, I did not receive the assistance advertised. I won’t use this service again.

Trunk Club has vastly exceeded my expectations and much of it has to do with my stylist, Shayna. She has made the process effortless and she has an excellent eye.

Enjoy The Service But App Is Buggy

I really enjoy the service overall, though it does take a lot of communication to actually get pieces you want or need. Stylists don’t always pay full attention to your requests or style preferences. However I’ve now ended up with some nice pieces that I otherwise probably wouldn’t have purchased. The app, however, can be really buggy. I’m currently unable to make purchases on the trunk that’s sitting in my house because the app still thinks it’s in transit. And despite messaging them, I haven’t had a response in 24 hours

Super easy to navigate, the stylists are very communicative and always have great suggestions. Highly recommend using this app to make your feedback for your trunks easier!

I might get more into the service and invest in getting my stylist to know me if the app wasn’t so buggy - I literally avoid using trunk club because I dread the app.

The new business model has taken away the most important reason for us to love the service. Our stylist was awesome, but now, not being able to work with him and having to deal with every one else, has clearly reduced the quality of the items. We’re done with your service! Bye!
