I’m a new user to trunk club but a returning customer of Nordstrom for many years. Not to mention the troubles of setting up a new account for trunk club, instead of accepting my Nordstrom logins (yes they are separate system even though Trunk club is a subsidiary of Nordstrom), there are security measure needs to be cleared before those stylists can style you!!! And you only know about the security measure AFTER you do not receive the scheduled trunk. They say they will email you about the security measure, but you will never get the email. So here’s the cycle if you get it. What a joke. Their customer support is in central time zone, but they never tell you that in the app or website. And their phone number will go out-of-serive that kind of tone after dialing. Tips is to try several time (in your busy schedule). Oh great, I got a call from INDIA right after finishing a call with the customer support. I’m not picking up this international call, cuz who knows how much I will be charged by my phone company?! What a joke. To Trunk Club/Nordstorm: if you don’t have the skills, you don’t run the business. Sincerely,

Don’t use this service and never referred to your friends!

I was so disappointed about it because Nordstrom blocked my account with no reason at all. I requested the first trunk and referred it to my friends because Nordstrom said the more you referred, the more credits you get!! And I referred it to all the friends I know, three of them used it so that I have $150 credits in it. But when I requested the second trunk, Nordstrom froze my account without any reason or details! The funny thing is that even though I’ve been blocked this service, Nordstrom still sends the promotion emails and the credits info to me! How can I use it? And stop sending those stupid emails to me!! When I ask the customer service what happened to my account, they are so rude to said there is no reason and details to disclose! And then they disconnected the chat with me! Don’t use this bad service because they will close your account if you want to refer it to others to get any credit! This is a big lie!

I’ve signed up recently (past 2 months) and attempted to order a few trunks and even waited 14 days after my supposed trunk ship date I never received confirmation of my trunk. Since signup I have yet to be contacted by a stylist to confirm my trunk style and despite attempts to reach the company I have yet to hear from anyone. Highly disappointing and incredibly poor representation from a company such as Nordstrom’s of which I’ve previously held in such high regards. Im not one to leave reviews but this is horrible business practices.


Trunks seem like the stock they are trying to dump off

My trunk selections were horrible, even with references to the trunk previews and specific items. After the fact, I did some digging and not only are their previews “just examples” they don’t actually sell the items I was requesting from the previews at all. What they do offer is cheaply made, chinsy clothes that don’t go together, don’t match a style, and look like the leftover stock they couldn’t sell at the rack. You’re paying them to try on what feels like a hodgepodge of clearance items, and the app has no clear way of canceling the service.

I am always excited to try everything on; having a personal shopper is the best! I would have never found these items. Even if I just buy a fraction of my trunk, it’s an outfit that I can mix and match with my current wardrobe. It’s so much better than impulse shopping. I really love it.

I was so excited to receive my first trunk. I loved almost everything. The quality is great and just so fun to try on in the comfort of your own home. I highly recommend. B

Receiving that beautiful box at my doorstep was so exciting, but I was a little disappointed after viewing the contents. For me, I found the merchandise very ordinary. Hate to say it, but I feel as though I was sent merchandise that is not selling in the stores. I’ll give it another try.


Will freeze your account for no reason and will try to scam you

I was overall satisfied with Trunk Club until I contacted their awful customer service for my account being frozen for no reason. I got an email saying that I have an open balance when that’s absolutely false and I returned everything from my trunks. I was then told that they were unable to provide any service for me because of a dispute that they lost a year ago. I was apparently refunded but then they want me to pay them that same amount. No way. Honestly I can’t even remember this dispute but whenever I do send a dispute to my bank, it’s for a good reason and I definitely know that I returned everything from my trunks. Even customer service said it until their greedy supervisor who thinks he can fool me disagreed. Also the stylists seem to just send whatever they want to you without even looking at your preferences or age group. These experiences made me realize Trunk Club really isn’t worth it.
