App on iPhone no privacy switch for cameras in app

The system does what it’s supposed to. When the installer had me download the app there was supposed to be a feature for privacy to toggle on and off when the house is not armed. The app in iOS doesn’t have it and the tech didn’t know how to fix it. Frustrating that the app advertises this feature but once downloaded it’s not there. I have to use a computer if I want to use this feature.

Been using this app since 2017 and it’s horrible. Takes forever to open and longer to arm/disarm system. System can be unarmed and app will show system armed or vice versa! We set it armed away and app changes it to armed stay. It also suddenly switched to Spanish. Awful app!

I have emailed and called Ackerman to repair my Lynx 5210 so the user and panel sync with successfully sync so the mobile apps both LyncConnect and tc with work. Been over 2 years without the ability to use this system features as designed and sold to me.

I don’t know what Honeywell has done over the last few years, but it is a disaster. Commands take way too long to execute, there is no panel-like interface such as the obsolete Lynx Touch app. The system wants to always perform a panel sync when you need to control the system, lights or temperature and it won’t allow it until the sync finishes.... and if the sync fails, get used to not being able to change anything for awhile. This entire system needs a complete overhaul.

I have a camera that sensitive to even bugs Flying by it. To add insult to injury, it do a 30 second recording which is useless. By the time the person gets out of the car it has already stopped recording. You better pray you tell who it is before they steal your car or worst case kill you.
