I can't get TonePrint to start, always crashes

I got a new TC Electronic SpectraComp yesterday. I loaded the Toneprint editor on my Windows 7 PC and it runs fine. I downloaded the app for my ipod touch 5 and tried to run it. It will start but after about one minute of looking for whatever it's looking for it crashes. I tried to run it many times but it crashed every time, so I have been unable to even test the operation. Although I was aware of problems prior to my purchase but some folks had good luck so I hoped maybe I'd be in that group. Nope. Disappointing.

It took a few seconds to load the app then I was using it, I downloaded a artist setting to my pedal no problem, worked like magic through the pickup how does that work? Anyway guessing it would be challenging in a live setting, but it is fun to play with in my living room lots of artist setting choices.

WHY TC??? You make some of the best gear in the industry but give up on the coolest pointers! Like you gave up on the Gsystem, you’ve given up on this app. It doesn’t load! I’ve downloaded and deleted it 4x.. rebooted my phone and it still gets stuck on the “images” page. Disappointed!!

As others have written, I can’t even get the app to open beyond the loading screen, even on Wi-Fi with the newest iPhone.

If you don't have regular access to a computer or iPad (like, if you were someone on tour, which seems like a target market for a guitar pedal company) then TonePrint/TC pedals are basically a waste because of this garbage app that doesn't load, doesn't actually let you use the feature, and feels like a fever dream to use. Like, in what world is editing patches not a core use case for this product and how has this app been out for years and still look and operate as bad as it does

Great app, stopped working

Haven’t used the app in a while. Worked great before. Have iphoneX now, won’t even load. Tried tossing and reinstalling to no avail. Bet the team is working on it. May 13, 2 months later, and nothing has been done. It would be nice for TC to acknowledge there is a problem and that they are working on it.
