Crashes and won’t work

Just updated a new iPhone 8 plus with the new and improved tone print app. It crashes and will not open and function. I deleted it and downloaded it again. Same thing try to open it and it crashes. Over and over again. I don’t even know how to get the old app back on my phone.

The old app was basically unusable for me, and I gave up on it completely. This updated app has made me keep my HALL OF FAME and consider getting the tremolo as well. Thanks for a great app; just in time!

I loaded it on my iPad Pro. Took a few tries for me to get it to work; I had to hold the iPad right against the strings. But it worked. Cool approach. Though I doubt I would ever do such a thing onstage lol
New app freezes

When I connect my Flashback II to my iPad Pro or iPhone 8+ using the Apple Camera Interface, the app says to turn the knob to a toneprint slot to sync, and then freezes. All software is the most recent. ALSO: I have tried registering this product and filing a support request through your website. Both times, I got all the way through the process, only to receive a URL NOT FOUND error.

Took a while to get it to run But daaaaaam! It’s rad that you can beam this funny fax dial-up tone into your pickups to tell the pedal to reconfigure! Be patient, the app could be a lot better, but it gives you a hell of a lot to play with
Not worth it

This app worked ok when I first got it. However, now when I try to open the app, all I get is “checking for new stuff” and after waiting 5-10 minutes to make sure my phone or ipad doesn’t go into sleep mode, nothing. I like the pedals but the app just outright stinks. So unless you have the cables and time to mess with it on your computer....forget it. TC did a bad job with this app.....time for some updates to fix it.

They don't tell you before you waste hundreds of dollars on your state-of-the-art TC electronics pedal, that the app takes about 40 seconds to a minute to load, if it loads at all and doesn't crash. And if you don't have Internet access, forget about even opening the app. I'm assuming these pedals were not designed to use live, because who on earth would have enough time for this while playing live? While the effects sound pretty good, and there are a wide variety of presets, they're completely useless because the app is completely useless. Is zero stars an option?

It’s been months I’ve been trying to get this app to work. I deleted it and re-downloaded it, still same issues. It gets stuck on the “retrieving artist images” screen and won’t even let me browse preset toneprints. C’mon guys!
Won’t even start up

. Opened it and waited for five minutes on the “searching for new stuff” screen and decided it’s not worth my time. A shame, because if it worked, it would be a great app.
