I can't get TonePrint to start, always crashes – TonePrint Review

I got a new TC Electronic SpectraComp yesterday. I loaded the Toneprint editor on my Windows 7 PC and it runs fine. I downloaded the app for my ipod touch 5 and tried to run it. It will start but after about one minute of looking for whatever it's looking for it crashes. I tried to run it many times but it crashed every time, so I have been unable to even test the operation. Although I was aware of problems prior to my purchase but some folks had good luck so I hoped maybe I'd be in that group. Nope. Disappointing.
