Most of the surveys I don’t qualify for apparently because their clients are looking for someone else’s opinion. I finally spent 30 minutes doing a survey and at the end it said it again. What a waste of time!

Downloaded this app because the website was so slow. So I get the app hoping it will perform better and nope! Just as slow and buggy sometimes even crashing. If you want people to take your surveys please provide a means that doesn’t involve the individuals wanting to rip their heads out please (Brand new iPhone 11 fully updated phone)

Annoyed with wasted time

I downloaded this app the other day. Since then I have not been able to complete a survey because “I don’t qualify”. Yesterday I couldn’t log in because my account was suspended for violation of terms. I have no clue what I’ve done since I haven’t completed a survey. I emailed them and got the following response. I hope everyone reads this before downloading this app. It stated that I’ve attempted to take surveys outside the US but I’ve only done the ones that were recommended by them. It’s a waste of time!!! Hello Tracy, Thank you for contacting us. Toluna is always vigilant in maintaining our community’s integrity. Unfortunately, during our regular quality reviews, we’ve noticed consistent issues with your account and survey activity that could negatively impact the integrity of our processes. Our system has detected that you were performing an activity that contradicts information provided in your member profile or is not in line with our Terms. Another example would be that your account is associated with the United States, but our system detected multiple and repeated attempts to access surveys from outside the US. As such, the panelist rights for this account have been suspended from our site due to the violation of our Terms and Conditions. When participating in activities offered to you by Toluna and its affiliated companies you agreed to supply only true, accurate, honest, current and complete (collectively "Accurate") information. Unfortunately, based on our records, this requirement has not been met, and, subsequently, your membership has been suspended. Thank you for your understanding. Best,

I’ve had the app about a month and a half - overwhelming amount of notification emails explaining high -point surveys availabile. After 10 to 15 minutes of qualification questions- which pertain to the particular survey- I’ve qualified for 2. But Apparently the pre-screen questions are tracked and shared amongst marketing departments because as No points are awarded for the qualification questions and/or time involved, your emails and text zzz messages begin to mysteriously fill up with ads and solicitations. The overall evaluation promises that, at the very least, you will provide-(for free)- your demographic consumer information while being a huge waste of time. It seems like an obvious fix would be to have each persons main stats I.e. age, gender, location, etc. attached to their profile to be pre-screened and properly matched before sending an email. To sum it up: Surveys, in general are a bad idea. Unless you can get compensation before you answer the first question, it’s not going to ever be worth it.
