I have tried 6 jobs not with 100% success but successes with my biggest projects. It seems that the company is trying to make this marketplace work effectively and that’s what matters.

I can’t tell you how many people I have referred to this app! I’ve been able to find amazing pros for all sorts of jobs at incredible prices! I’ve hired at least 5 different services and the were always amazing! I have to agree with the instant match thing though... I used to have eager bidders, now it’s starting to feel like spam. Please allow us to opt out of that service, because I’d be lost without thumbtack

I am so busy with work and family so trying to vet thru and endless amount of contractors isn’t practical. Worse, it leaves things undone around the house and chances are you’ll end up overpaying. This app lives up to its promises of hiring great people who do quality work at great prices!

The app does what it supposed to find professionals of the area needed help with the only thing that I have to add is if you don’t need a project anymore you should be able to delete it and it should be easy

This app is terrible and I’m only writing this review because I know for a fact I did not touch the ad, but I still got taken to this crappy app and it’s developers for paying however many monies literally to troll 9 gagers

I have used Thumbtack for a few projects. I have had a really good experience every-time. From the response time of the service providers to the job being done promptly and for a fair or better than fair price. I like that it gives you options when considering providers. I read some not so good reviews but as for me (personally and for my business too) I have had nothing but a positive experience each time I go to Thumbtack. I hope they continue to keep it simple and affordable not just for the buyer but for the providers as well. Its a good system. Keep it going. I recommend this app to everyone. As long as it keeps doing what I need it to do then I will gladly keep making thumbtack my go to app for all my out source job needs! Thanks Thumbtack. Keep up the good work!

I am so happy I found this app! I am able to talk to local contractors, get quick bids, without them having my direct information! This has been a life saver for getting my house put on the market and I have hired three different types of people from the app and they have all Benn great!!!! Recommend!!!!
