Some years ago we happened upon this site and found a wonderful person to clean our house. She is still with us and since then we have found our dog walker, carpet and upholstery cleaner and just now our new plumber. Superb format and resource!

Great for instant multiple options. Could use some development in functionality as far as the jobs you have and how to manage them. I had to turn off notifications for the text message thread since I could not tell the app I had hired someone already. That would have saved everyone time and effort too.

I do not think the application is professional enough, when supposed clients appear that you never contact and send you a message, giving opportunity to the application to charge for that client and the worst thing is that those supposed clients are from other states, even specifying in the application the working distance. This application makes you fill out a questionnaire including the location to contact them with professionals near their area. this application lacks profecionalismo and seriousness.

Thought this was a good app even though you would occasionally run across bad contractors. That’s just life I guess. Today I figured out why bad contractors don’t have bad reviews. The site won’t let me leave a bad review! I’ve used several different people and never left a bad review before but now that I’m trying, it won’t let me. After a few hours and texting thumbtack support I was able to leave a 1 star review but I’m unable to leave a comment to go with it to explain. More texting with customer support but still no way to update the review. Clearly they’re just protecting the contractors , good or bad, so they’ll keep paying their fees.
