Roof Repair (not replace)

I was having trouble finding a roofer to just repair the flat part on my roof. All roofers that I contacted wanted to do a complete replacement. 90% of my roof was in very good condition so I declined all bids. Then I posted some photos on Thumbtack. I was contacted by roofers that didn’t mind doing my repair. It has not rained yet, but I believe I got a very good repair job from a roofer that has experience, took his time and did the job right.

I’ve used Thumbtack successfully 3 times in 6 months. It couldn’t be easier. You get good bids and can pick who & what fits your needs.
Good App can be Buggy and Feel Automated

I like the interface and the app however somethings could be improved upon. When submitting a project you sometimes get several automated quotes immediately, so soon you know the person has not had time to actually review your project and the computer just spits out a number. Some final review on the quoting end might be good to make sure projects are priced appropriately. Also I can’t seem to be able to cancel projects from the app. After selecting the reason why I hit cancel and nothing happens.

This much needed app/company quickly and easily connects my needs with local professionals. I have found a dog groomer, counselor, makeup and hair artists all of whom I’ve been highly satisfied with!
