I need a way in thumbtack to end bid submissions before closing the project. I want a way to tell everyone that I have made my choice but can’t find that.

Not A Fan Of Thumbtack
I used a moving company called, “D & A Movers in Akron, OH and they ripped my mom’s new couch. They said they would pay to have it fixed then they blocked my number and will not return my calls even though they admitted in writing that they would pay for the repair which is only $100. When I went to give D & A Movers a one-star rating, Thumbtack would not accept my rating. Beware!

I was skeptical about this app until I got talked into using it. Now I won’t use anything else. I’ve used three different companies/services through Thumbtack. The contractors & handymen I’ve used have all been top notch & the jobs done have been done beyond my expectations

Very user friendly and easy to use. Broad categories...I can find a lot of businesses on here. Give it a 4-stars because I could not find the mobile coffee truck I like (Coffee Go-Around) on ThumbTack even though they said they’re listed on ThumbTack :(

I’ve found three exceptional contractors using Thumbtack. I still do business with them to date. Not sure how it works for the service providers but as a customer, this app is my first choice for hiring quality, experienced contractors. I like that I get a range of quotes and I choose who works best for my timeline and budget. I wish there was an immediate way to let offerers know immediately when I contractor has been selected and scheduled. This would stop incoming quotes. Otherwise, satisfied user.

My wedding was completely staffed by vendors I found on thumbtack. They were affordable and very much professional. From DJ to caterer to decorator and more. I recommend this app for anyone trying to plan an event on a budget.
Need ability to swipe left to delete

Passed on quotes i want to remove from my messages. Hard to locate method. Add a simple swipe left to remove. Otherwise as a first time user very happy
