I love that with the app’s questions they generate—they can hook you up with a professional that fits your needs. We first looked for and used the moving company we found through thumbtack. Excellent!! Now we just finished a ceiling fan installation with another company we found through thumbtack. Such a convenient way to find service providers and communicate to get quotes and ask questions. Love that you can also see the thumbtack reviews of customers that previously used the companies.

Can’t edit reviews

Highly dissatisfied that you cannot edit reviews afterwards. I posted a review after receiving an email from Thumbtack to review. The repair failed the next day and was not fixed. Now I am unable to update my situation. Initially I was satisfied with my A/C up and running again; however I would like an option to redo my review if need-be. I’m going to try a different app next time, such as Angie’s List or HomeAdvisor after removing Thumbtack.

I had requested three times from Angie’s and never received a contact. Submitted one time for my sprinklers and got a top pro, plus I didn’t have to pay for a membership. The guy that fixed my sprinklers found hidden issues and made sure it was right before leaving. He did more then an expensive company said they did. This app will be my go to for projects
