Signing up, I had high hopes of generating good leads with my Wedding Videography and Photography side hustle. It turns out, the user support for professionals is difficult to work with, pricing is somewhat misleading, and the leads generated are not very well vetted. It would be great if they vetted leads with a small fee (even $0.50h , but I often get charged $30, $20, $50 for a lead in which the potential customer was merely price shopping with no real interest.

Works as advertised. There’s always occasional floaters who don’t actually want you to do the work but overall I’ve booked over 1000.00$ in jobs and spent 80.00$ my first week. I’d say that’s still a good investment. Thanks

I m new to this app and trying to get some leads for my newly open business. However, they keep sending me leads that requesting availability that is outside my business hours— I only have my availability open during the weekends,(I have my weekdays blocked, and setup the business hour in app as on open during weekends) but I have had leads sent to me ONLY asking to do jobs on Thursday Friday or other weekdays— but never work with weekends. So for the first week I spent almost $100 for them sending me leads that don’t work with my schedule, and I’m getting 0 business so far. The Most horrible part is— i tried to talk to someone, I texted, after asking language preference no one ever replies. I called, and they will just ask you to use text support, no other option— which you will never get any replies. You can never talk to someone from their support team on phone.

I’ve used thumbtack and I have made money on it but half of the time they have customers that don’t seem real. They don’t respond, answer their phone and if you pay attention majority of the numbers look fake as well. Like “417-717-7777.” Then there are a bunch of things I see like people message with errors that no one in their right mind would take the time to make. Like “hi how _are_ you doing. I’m looking for a trainer _that_ can help me.” No one writes like that and then they’ll never respond after that. I think thumbtack can be abs amazing app if they didn’t have fake leads to steal peoples money. If they were honest and have real people talk to me then that would be awesome.

This is not worth the money . You don’t make any return on your investment. They give leads to everyone even after you pay for them . They don’t even refund .

$59 a $100 service lead, false promotions, employees as corrupt as the company. I would like to gather several companies and sue them, as they make many promises and offer you many promotions, but you don't get any return, they are false promotions.
