Super fun!

I think my entire work wardrobe will soon be from ThredUp! I love it!

Great finds but not so great RTOI

Love this site for clothes to buy. Have purchased at least several hundred dollars worth of clothes but saved more on these brand name and designer finds that are very good quality. They do a great job inspecting the clothes. However, if you're giving them items, you will get 17% of the price that they're selling your item for, unless it is designer. Great if you were just going to give the items to Goodwill or sell them in a garage sale. But, per my husband, the tax break by itemizing the item and giving it to charity may be worth more. Personally, I kinda like the credit I get when I sell through the site. Though, I always spend it more clothes and never get the actual $.

Love it!

So much fun!!

Don't send your clothes to ThredUp.

I ordered a clean out bag from them which contained at least 30 items of clothing, and 3 pairs of shoes. After waiting about 2 months, they finally emailed me and told me that they only accepted three items. I got a $1.25 for the three items. The rest of my clothes were unable to be returned to me because I didn't check a box when I ordered the clean out bag. They sell the remaining clothes to "third parties" and keep all the profit. This store is a joke. Don't send your clothes here.

Happy, Long-term Customer

I've been a customer of ThredUp for about a year now. I'm sure I've spent over $1000 by now, but I'd have spent double or triple that for brand-new department store or boutique shop finds. Yay for me!! My main request is to put more size measurements in the descriptions. I'm an atypical petite, so measurements are best for me as many designers vary. A size two doesn't have standard measurements in the fashion industry. I tend to return at least a few items from every purchase, so if more sizing were in the descriptions, I think it would reduce all of your returns across the board and save a ton of $ in shipping. Also, I have loads of clothes, shoes and handbags to consign, but I'm waiting for new clean out bags to be sent to me. Any idea when I'll be able to request more bags? Thank you for all the great treasures I've found! Keep up the great work.

Slow

Super slow with processing consignment bags!!! I have ordered a few items and received them in fair time. Overall good with purchases I have made but not good in processing consignment bags! Very low payout on the items I sent in. Won't sell to them again.

Just awesome!

Thredup is my latest obsession! I've scored so many awesome finds for both myself and my son! Love!

Seriously?!?!?

Okay to buy from. Terrible to send your stuff to. They gave me $4.95 for four pairs of gap/ loft pants. Absurd!!!!

ThreadUp is quality!

ThreadUp is the best new idea to hit the clothing market in this decade. The garments sold on this site are beautiful. I receive frequent compliments while wearing my purchases, and always tell people about ThreadUp when they ask where I purchased something. I feel really good about spending with ThreadUp, and I hope they stay in business forever.

Love it!

No more schlepping the kids to a consignment shop to dig thru racks in the hopes of finding something good, now I search for exactly what I want while the kids are napping :)
