Absolutely Awful

I’ve been using Tenant cloud all of 2021. I waited almost a year to call it quits and write off the $350-400 subscription. I am a mom and pop landlord. TenantCloud has only been a headache. Constantly emailing/reminding tenants AFTER they’ve made payments. No automatic transfer into my bank account (this is a huge red flag). Verification process is not intuitive. Marketing a property is just clunky. I tried to cancel several times within the first few months and they wouldn’t let me. When you message with customer service, they send the same message over and over again like it’s from a bot. What?!?!?! I have been using Turbotenant for 7 months and am very satisfied.

It works great for managing rental properties. It does have a decent learning curve but once I learn everything it will make scaling up my business so much easier.


1st and only property management software

Needless to say the title speaks for itself when I say, “It’s My 1st and only property management software I’ve ever needed. Yes I have looked at other but this one is right for me. I have 39 different units from apartments to house to a Restaurant. I almost hate getting it for free. But it’s great software!

This is a horrible app and web browser. When I first started using it a year and a half ago it did not accept any of the form of payments I used. The banking did not work with PNC and the credit cards did not accept Capitol One. I had to open a new bank account to be able to pay my rent. Half the time you can’t log in. Even though I’ve saved and use the same browser, every time I try to log in it, it tells me I need to use two factor authorization and it sends me a code. The code only works for 5 minutes but takes 10-20 to get sent to your email. So it’s expired when you get it and you can’t get in. Since you can’t get in you can’t reach out to support to get help. So just hope your landlords are understanding and will let you Venmo once in a while cause you can’t even get in to make payments. The support is horrendous. The people who respond don’t even read your issues. They ask questions and tell you to do things that you have already written and explained in your ticket. I had to use the website to notify my landlords I was moving out. The message went through and showed delivered. My landlords never responded so I went in and the message was gone. Support has been unable to help me. I had to provide 30 days notice and because the message didn’t go through I am now stuck paying for an additional 5 days of rent to meet my 30 day requirement. Support has yet to assist in any ways and just keeps trying to close my ticket without helping. This is seriously the worst company/app/program that I have ever been forced to use. I strongly suggest finding a new place to live over having to use this. It will be better for you in the long run. This app is that terrible!!

A landlords nightmare. The interface is awful. If you go back a page its takes you to the beginning of time. If you are viewing a new maintenance request list and you then view a maintenance and go back you have to re apply filters to see new again. If you view a unit you cannot see who lives in that unit but you can see who lives in the property, however you can see what unit a tenant lives in by going to the tenant but if you dont know that tenants name you have to go through each one individually and if you are on a page greater that the first and you go back, again it takes you back to the beginning of time. This is not just in the mobile app but on the web version as well. Glad im making the switch to Buildium.

Your app has been broken for 2 weeks. I literally can’t login to receive payments.it just opens to white screen with ‘something went wrong.’
