TOTAL GARBAGE

Dikidd2017

This app is Literally TRASH !!!!!!! I requested a visit at 10:00am and NINE HOURS LATER (7pm), “NINE” I STILL Have Not Received A Call, Text, Email......... NOTHING !!!!!!! What’s the point of giving all my info and not receiving any reliable service? Hence why I am so skeptical about downloading and using apps like these.

No Help

Doctor was nice but called 40 minutes after scheduled appointment and $40 to talk to a doctor for less than 5 minutes is ridiculous. I have swimmers ear and symptom that have persisted for 5 Days. I’ve had it before and know I need an ear drop antibiotic. The doctor said that Teladoc’s policy on ear aches is not to prescribe antibiotics; to go somewhere locally to have it checked out. Gee, thanks. Now instead of being out the fee for an office visit, I am also out $40. What is this for if it’s not for simple stuff like ear aches? And if that’s Teladoc’s policy on ear aches, that’s fine but then why don’t they just say so when I clearly marked that my issue today was an ear infection? Unbelievable. I don’t know why I trusted these people to help. Instead I just paid good money for someone to tell me he can’t look in my ear over the phone. Just save your money and go see your doctor.

Avoid if at all possible

There isn’t a rating low enough to categorize the problems I’ve experienced.

Sign Up Pocess

seanjohnmc

Not the best sign up process. Under allergies it only gives you a list. If your allergy is not on the list, you cannot type it in. Under contacts, same problem. It should allow you to type in all requested info instead of just providing lists. This needs to be changed.

So happy this exists

I don’t think I’ve ever reviewed an app before, but Teladoc deserves my unwavering praise. My nanny had strep, my oldest son has strep, my middle child has impetigo (same bacteria as strep), so when I woke up with a fever and wicked sore throat, i knew it was strep. The thing is that I was too sick to want to leave the couch and drag my sick children with me to the doctor’s office, but then I remembered a coworker’s praise for Teledoc and I thought I’d give it a shot. After registering my medical history, I requested a phone call from a doctor, who called within minutes. He listened attentively to my symptoms and the diagnosed issue in the house and a script of amoxicillin was sent to CVS right away. This is the future of non-emergency healthcare!

NRA relationship

UmadBro5431

Disappointed to find out Teladoc has a special relationship with the NRA. As long as Teladoc has any relationship with the NRA I will not use your services!

Horrible

Read3582699

Doctor tells me 'CDC says a person can't be treated over the phone'. What is the point of teledoc if they don't treat over phone? Horrible rude personality doctor.

This service is Trash!!!!

Wikitonetc

Straight trash.... the doctor started off by informing me that I would not get an antibiotics due to only being sick for five days... (severe sinus infection) I was then told to drink more water? And try some otc meds... if I was still sick after ten days call back... Sorry people skills... sounded like I was bothering the Doctor. Paid my money to be told to drink water. I will never waste my time of money with these people again!

Waste Of Time

BCoconuts

I do not recommend Teledoc. It’s a waste of your time and the doctors do not listen. Not only did they not listen to my husband and myself but they treated us like we were idiots. My family and I will never use this company again.

Three Strikes You're Out

Elizam981234

Waste of time and money The app charges prior to doctor's call ($40-160) and then does not automatically refund when the app malfunctions (frequently) or the doctor is unable to treat the condition. Teladoc then requires that you request a refund via lengthy customer service calls where legitimate refund requests are met with suspicion and stalling on the phone (even in an instance where the employee could see a charge but there was no record of an appointment). Additionally, the "doctor" (DePasquale) failed to review the three word reason for the appointment and medical history and was unable to treat condition. She admitted this and stated they did not generally review either prior to calling. She also refused to make a note in the note section available to her to state that she could not treat reason for appointment to help speed up the cumbersome and time-consuming refund request process. DO NOT USE!
