I have used video conferencing doctor services before. Make your appointment and within 30 minutes you are speaking with a physician. Teladoc? 40 minutes after putting in for a consult for a severe sinus infection that is getting so painful after treating for a week with musinex afrin and ibuprofen that my teeth, left side of my scalp hurts to touch or eat; I called customer service about the extensive wait. The suggestion? Let’s change it from a video conference to a phone call. An hour and 20 minutes later, I call back. “Let me check on that for you... you are still in queue to be consulted.” I canceled. I could have gone to my local urgent care and been out in40 minutes. Now my pharmacy is closed. What is convenient about a physician service that never talks to you or helps. Thanks for the wonderful night of restlessness due to pain I am in for!

After reading all of your reviews very carefully, I’m deleting this app and not even bothering to try your service. It looks like you have some work to do, and should stop dipping into everyone’s money.
Teladoc is a useless service

Teladoc is being sold to many companies as a benefit on the premise of “if you already know you just need antibiotics, then we can do that for you”. Even this, they fail to deliver. 90% of the time, you’ll get a nurse practitioner living over a thousand miles away who will waste your time and ultimately make you visit a local urgent care. I urge everyone whose company offers this as a “benefit” and has encountered a similar experience to tell their HR department so that Teladoc can be held accountable.

Title explains everything...they take your money quick and a doctor takes there time with you but don’t expect anything else from the company

Submitted a request and kept getting push notifications that someone would be with us but over an hour later there was no call. Every-time I went in the app after the notice there was still no doctor assigned. I had to pay for them to break their guarantee.

No coughing kids, 3 hour wait times, and rude people. I called to get refills on my maintenance meds and had a call within 10 minutes. This was awesome! I will definitely use this again.

If you don’t want to leave your house, but still receive amazing service and attentive care, Teladoc should be your go-to. Just had an incredible experience with both the customer service staff and physician. I got an update when my chart was being reviewed, when I should expect a call (and it was very fast - next to no wait time), and a follow up to say my prescription had been submitted. To say I’m impressed is a massive understatement!
Waste of money and time

Since they don't want to tell you beforehand, I will warn you don't use this service if your child isn't 1 yet. They will say, "can't treat under 1" and still charge you. Mom of twins (was desperate) and now also taken advantage of. Thanks Teladoc...
