Called on a Saturday night. Had to wait over an hour just for them to call and tell me that the wait would be so long they couldn’t give me time that a doctor would be able to call. Of course, this was after they took my money.

I thought this was going to be great tool to have for medical care. It took a long time to set it up with someone on the phone, so I decided to upload my profile through the app. That didn’t take as long. Once I finished setting up my profile I needed to have a video chat for my daughter. I waited 2 hours to only receive a call asking if I could switch my apt to a phone call. At this point I just wanted to talk to a doctor. So I agreed. The lady ran a “test” call to make sure the phone call would come through and it did. Great I’m thinking, I will finally be able to talk to someone. I waited for another hour and as I’m waiting I’m getting notices that doctors are reviewing my profile. I’m getting no phone calls no notifications that someone is trying to contact me. I check the app and then I check my email. Sure enough I get an email saying my apt has been cancelled. That a doctor had tried to contact me 3 times. Now that I’ve been waiting for almost 3 hours I am really annoyed and upset for waisting so much time. I call again and talked to someone to figure out what happened. Why I didn’t receive a phone call. He said it showed that there was an attempt by a doctor to contact me. I let him know we did a test call and that came through. I checked my phone to make sure i didn’t miss any call and the last call that showed was from the “test” call. So ultimately this is not a great option for getting medical attention. I had high hopes that this would be easy, but save your time and energy and call your physician office instead!

I needed a refill on my meds and no time to make it into the drs office. This was sooo easy and all done within 5 minutes. Love this service.

The photos don’t load in the app. The wait times are always a long time, even with a scheduled one, you’re looking at like a hour wait after. The support team is helpful but the customer support thing takes hours too.

I had a painful knot on my head show up and I was worried it was the result of a spider bite. I requested a visit ASAP. 3 hours later.... I’ve now had two doctors reviewing my file and my request has all of a sudden disappeared from my file. Looks like I’ll be using my primary physician from now on.

Quick to charge Our credit card but wouldn’t offer any solution! I am so depressed the Dr. told ME to go somewhere else! Nah, that so rude to tell a patient to “Go somewhere else “. I am asking for help and I got turn away smh. Wow! I can’t stop crying I’m out of meds and I can’t get in to see My primary Dr til August!!! So in the meantime I am gonna have bad thoughts racing! If your looking for a Dr. run the other way as fast as you can! They only want to charge your credit card!!! Never again! I think half the people who gave good scores are probably the employees and Drs! Giving themselves praise! BS!

Been using Teladoc for almost a year now. Initially had horrible experiences but this app has helped me a few times recently, so I am now trying it more often. I wish that the responses from dermatologists were quicker but they’ve been helpful once they’ve answered. Hope the app and company continues to improve their service.
