Love this app. Listened over 850 hours with it, but the new app update does not work with Mini/BMW screen control system. Please fix!

Better Feaures than Apple Podcasts

Apple Podcast is now a train wreck. Stitcher is easier to use, it keeps your stuff organized. Only downfall is it won't allow you to save many episodes without paying.

Stitcher shows how many hours you’ve listened using the app. I’m coming up on 7000 hours. It is my GO TO app for podcasts. I love that I can customize lists. I have one for the dozens of True Crime podcasts I listen to, one for news, one for history, one for fictional series and several others. Plus you can search for content in show notes and show titles, so when you suddenly need to know about that one thing, you’ve got a bunch of options. Auto download is my fave new feature.

Great app

I preferred Stitcher for many years, and I did not mind the ads (as others have lamented). But this fall/winter, the app refused to recognize my account and the reset password options didn’t work. I suspect something temporarily buggy, but it was enough to make me give up. The new user interface is inferior to the old one (although still better than some other competitors). I’m not here for all this scrolling. And what is with the random podcasts they keep pushing in the feed? I listen to podcasts precisely because I don’t have time or the ability to read an article or pay tremendous attention to my phone (e.g. driving, mornings, etc.). If I want Tumblr-style experience, I can download that app.

Cheers, Stitcher

This new interface makes listening to podcast such a joy. Puts other podcast apps to shame, esp. Apple’s.
