I have had my devise installed for just about week now. I like having the ability to have my shades go up or down set with Sunrise and Sunset, along with the +/- 60 minute override. That seems to be work good, but I was expecting to see if the shades are up or down from my app. I have a Chamberlain/ Liftmaster's My Q system for my garage doors, indoor lamp and outdoor lights. That system works fantastic. Not only does it show if the overhead doors are open or closed, but has a timer that shows how long they were in each attitude. Same with the lights. Yes, I know this is Somfy's first few revs of this app, but would like them to add the features that the My Q system has currently, in the future developments. Lastly, I have a bank of 5 large windows, I was disappointed that I can't have control of each of the 5 windows, plus a separate all scene without having to purchase another device.

The app is very basic and doesn't give the status of the blinds and is very difficult to navigate around in for setup options. I chose to use the zWave RTS integration with Smartthings as now I have it tied into the rest of my house and that hardware supports 16 channels while the MyLink only supports 5.

Is a good App but it takes too many steps to change a Scheduled Scene, it would be very useful to add an able and disable button to every Schedule. As well as the geofencing feature to activate a certain Scene

Easy to setup. Should default to Scenes if that's what you used last. Hopefully will have Apple Watch support soon like with Hue ... and IFTTT support! ("When my Nest says the temperature is over 85%, lower the Somfy shades.")

Ridiculously long load time. 10+ seconds on an iPhone 6. So slow I never really use it. Needs major performance improvements so it is merely clunky to use and not painful

Very confusing and awkward. At least one bug is the inability to change the pin number related to adding add'l devices to config. User needs to search web for a distributor that has created a user manual since Somfy has chose not to do so. Operation is painfully slow in response to commands, but it does work locally and remotely. User experience leaves something to be desired.

I believe that part of the experience is the responsiveness of the shades and blinds. This app is just to slow to consider using it.
