Terrible app from a company that doesn't care!

I wanted programmable shades... Separate times I want each want to go up or down... Set it and forget it. That was fine for the first few months. Then the "operating earlier than scheduled" started happening. I didn't notice it at first. I noticed it when it was going up or coming down 10 minutes early and then 20 minutes early and then a half hour early. I tried setting the timer to make it operate later and later to try to compensate for it. Didn't make a difference. Tried to reprogram it. Now the shades only work by remote and the app only operates one of the shades and the app won't let me program anything. I honestly wish I had gone with the shades from another company that cost $2000 more. The "how to" videos on YouTube make programming look so easy, but it isn't. In the video, the "+" button means "next", but in real life, it means "add another" scene or schedule. I am so confused and frustrated with this whole thing. Just avoid this company and their products!

Application is extremely buggy and inconsistent. Programming works sporadically and is inconsistent. I used the app to program shades, tested those shades, and then it operates different shades when used in operation. The process of updating the MyLink controllers is also cumbersome and inconsistent. App repeatedly instructs me to do power resets, and then fails to update, asking for more power resets. Seems that there is no quality control. Minor point compared to everything else, but it is pretty basic to have apps detect and adapt to landscape and portrait orientations. This only works in landscape. Just another sign of poor app execution.

Great technical staff if you run into any trouble. Also their are several online videos that can assist setting up and using the software to coordinate your shades.

I update firmware to 5.17 and repair hub. Then I cqn use app to control shade but can not see wifi info again, either discover it in alexa.

The latest version keeps prompting me to update the firmware on my unit which never completes. There is no option to tell the app to stop promting me. If I can't update my firmware stop asking me each time I open the app.

Tried to update from multiple IOS devices. Router reboot, etc etc... failed time and time again. Was this even tested before release? $10,000 worth of blinds controlled by a $4 controller and a terrible app. Both the remote and app are ridiculous too. If you are in the market for automated blinds, I am not sure what the options are, but I would highly encourage anyone to invest some time in researching other products.
