I have had this scale for over two years and have NEVER been able to even pair the device to my new iPhone. Not sure which is worse...the app or the scales. Either way, they need to rethink their technology and device connectivity. Very poor system. Not worth the price. I was better off with a cheap $20 scale.

The app no longer functions, with constant crashes whenever it tries to connect with my scale. I've tried re-initiating the connection to no avail. The developer appears to have abandoned the app as it hasn't had an update since 2016.

When I first got the scale I Thought it was great that it works with an app but now it doesn't. So what do we do now? Obviously I'll still use my scale but I think the app should be updated!

Great for a while, now data will not transfer and constantly crashes. Can't use it, stops in mid use.

Our scale has been working fine for almost 2 years. With the recent iPhone IOS update to 11.0.3 the Bluetooth connection no longer works. Tried changing batteries, no good. Tried adding the scale as a new device, no good. Removed existing scale and tried adding it back as a new device, no good. The iPhone application no longer recognizes the scale.

I’ve been using the app with the Taylor Smart Scale Model 7226SFC for about 2.5 years now. I have had to reset the connection a couple of times in those 2.5 years, but otherwise it has worked flawlessly. I use the scale every morning immediately before showering. It syncs with my MyFitnessPal and Apple Health. In that time I have gone through three different iPhone models. Just recently when I switched from the iPhone 7 to iPhone X, it automatically synced my settings and kept working, I didn’t have to do anything. On the negative side, the initial setup was not intuitive and it took a few days before it connected and recognized my profile. Also, the user interface hasn’t been updated, ever. But it works! And it works consistently!

The app will not allow me to register. I’ve tried using cellular data (nothing) and WiFi (still nothing). It keeps giving me a “network error”.

I have used my Taylor Smart Scale with the SmarTrack app for several years, mostly without issue. I updated a week ago. It worked (mostly) fine for a few days — although the need to log in each and every time I used it was a minor annoyance. Now whenever I try to sign in, I get a “network error” message and can’t use the Bluetooth features at all. I am sincerely considering buying anything that doesn’t use this app. This is ridiculous.
