Lacks support for latest OS and devices

I am tired of watching tv using only a fraction of the device’s screen. First I thought it was just a matter of time until the developers caught up with the latest screen resolutions, but since that never happened, it’s obvious slingbox simply does not think video quality matters. Support for the latest OS is also lacking (latest iOS support is v10.0, when iOS is already at v11.1.2). Great concept, poor execution.

Streaming to Roku is broken... no support at all. No way to reach customer service. Why are you guys always behind the ball on app updates?! Please support your customers!!!!

Why no updates?!?!?!? I paid for this app!!! Geeeeeezzzzz what a ripoff, hasn’t been updated in over a year, even before iOS 10!! AND, you actually updated the FREE app before the PAID app?!?!?!? Uuuuggggghhhhhhhh

I Love My 2 Slingbox’s at home & I tell everyone about them. On My Samsung S5 the FREE APP worked great. Now that I have an iPhone 7Plus the Slingbox APP Free version worked good, but I thought if I paid the $14.99 for the IPhone App that it would be better, NO it was worse. I am requesting a full refund for the App, and I will probably get a Samsung S8 Phone because it works well with the Free App for Androids. I was contemplating buying a new Slingbox, but it depends on how you handle this issue for me. Thank you

SlingPlayer is working well at iPhone X but to close it you need turn of the device. Update it NOW!!!!!!

The app has not been optimized for iOS 11 for the iPhone X. You have to cancel out occasionally because you can’t get controls to work appropriately.
Channel changing is terrible

Absolutely worthless app. Selecting any station that has a sequence of two ‘1’s or two ‘0’s is impossible. 1011 will take you to 1 or maybe 101 but never 1011. Same for 100n. Will land you on 10n or n. Selection from guide or a favorites list is the same as the functionality behind those apparently is just the same as entering the numbers. Just get a pc and use the free web app. Only slightly better but still better. A great technology with a deplorably bad user interface.
