The App has never been the most stable streaming apps out there. I have as my sling box for about 6 years now and have managed the frequent delayed responses, pause in streaming and dropped connections but for those interested in streaming to chromecast, look elsewhere for now, as the stream has not been working for months. The app itself is portly designed and slow to respond. It does stream to other devices such as Apple TV.
Chrome cast implementation BROKEN!!!

App disconnects EVERY time a button is pushed on the remote. iPad or iPhone. Used to work fine.
Won’t keep you logged in!!

This app used to work. Now, every time I launch it, I have to type in my username and password. It would be great if the app would save that information, and keep me logged in. I’m totally frustrated and I paid money for this app.
Sling Player Issues

When I initially purchased my Sling Box Player, it worked intermittently. Now when I attempt to access Sling Player App on my iPhone, it does not turn on unless someone at my residence has the cable on connected to the Sling Box Player.
Company is dead

App doesn't Airplay anymore with iOS 11 and Apple TV 4. Company has no more support. The lights have gone out at Slingbox. Great idea, too bad it's dead in the water.
Please update this app

Please update this app just like you updated the slingTV app. I own multiple boxes and paid a lot of money for them. There is no reason to update one app and leave this app un updated for over a year. Please optimize for iPhone X, there is no excuse.
Not iPhone X or Plus optimized

Please optimize your app for iPhone X or at least for iPhone Plus sized screens. The app works with your Slingbox fine but it’s a barebones app and can be very finicky. The screen size isn’t optimized for the bigger iPhone sizes and you can pretty much forget about multitasking with this app.
iOS 11 problem

It was all good until update iOS 11 on ipad and iphone. It doesn’t work. Can’t access my Slingbox. Saw a lot of complains on forum about this. We need a fix ASAP.
Great product but is it past it’s time? Software lags.

Not updated on a regular basis... now on iOS 11 and iPhone X with the most expensive box but the app lags behind...
Does not work with iPhoneX. Bricks entire phone.

DO NOT BUY. This app literally will brick your iPhone X and prevent anything else from opening until you completely reboot your phone. This app hasn’t been support it seems for over a year, yet the seem to want to charge money for it nevertheless. DO NOT BUY.
